Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent Product The plugs fit perfectly when using 3/4" thick material. If you rush drilling your holes, the angle of the hole can vary slightly. If this happens, you may have to sand a little to get the plug to be flush. However, if you take your time and drill properly, you should not have any issues.

Was building some new Adirondack chairs with pocket screws and decided to give these a Try. To be honest, I didn't think they would work, that something would be off, or wouldn't match the holes I'd set. They worked perfectly. Slide into place and saved me a ton of filling and sanding. I went back and got another box, just to have on hand for my next project. Very rarely do you find something that works exactly as advertised. I was very pleased and highly recommend them for anyone working with pocket screws.

These plugs fit perfectly into the Kreg Pocket-Holes from the Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig. They are stainable, paintable, and I have never opened a pack and found one to be damaged or unusable. Kreg makes a plug cutting system, but I have read that people have issues getting it to cut plugs that are as clean as these are. It would be nice to save some money, but on a nice project where pocket-holes might show, there is no alternative in quality. It is worth the money to make the project stand out, and not the pocket holes. I will continue to purchase these until they perfect their plug cutting system for consumers.

Since the holes can be different angles and sizes and these plugs come in one size, it often protrudes from the wood. You will need to sand this down after you glue it in. Afterwards, I use wood filler to cover imperfections. Meant for paint only, not staining.

First time using these plugs and overall was much easier than filling the pocket holes with wood filler. I still had to sand quite a bit of the plug to get it flush though.

Adds a nice finished look to projects. I use my DeWalt Multi-purpose tool to trim off, then a quick & light sanding; good to go, ready for paint.

Apply wood glue to non-exposed parts of the Pocket-Hold plug, insert it in the Pocket-Hole and wipe away excess glue with a wet rag. The Plug should sit flush in the Pocket-Hole. If not, simply put some sawdust into excess glue to fill gaps. Once glue is dried, sand/stain/paint etc.

I don't know about all pocket holes but I use the Kreg jig and all of those are 3/8

Yes. But most retailers don't carry them. There is also a plug making kit where you can cut your own from scraps and cutoffs.

Do 3/8" plugs work with the Kreg Jig XL?
