Rated 2 de 5 de par Too Short I'm 6' tall and this is way too short for me. The description states 'compact design' and they are spot on. I guess I was focused on the material supports. It appears to be the only one with stands, which I find important. I purchased a new LS1219L saw and it completely dwarfs this stand. It is just over 31" tall and 14" wide at the wheels. There is no way this saw will work on that stand. Build quality is mediocre. I'd say this saw stand would be good for a 10" non-slider for shorter people. It is being returned. I have an older 1st generation Ridged MS-UV which should work out nicely. Bummer thought. I really wanted a new stand with my new saw.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Don't purchase save your money This is the worst stand I have ever used! It want to fall over every time I went to make a cut. It would not collapse for storage. Returned the stand.

Rated 3 de 5 de par it's not worth the high price stand is mediocre at best. looking at it and handling it, it doesn't seem like a $200+ stand. parts of it remind me of cheap outdoor steel furniture. doesn't seem like it would hold up long if it was getting moved around a lot. operating it isn't exactly smooth either. maybe i got a bad one, I don't know. makita ls1016 mounted easily however.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Could have been packaged better. Stand arrived with broken thumbscrew. Manual diagrams too small to read. Fortunately, most of it was assembled and I could figure out the rest without the manual.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Decent little stand This stand came with my 12" dual slide saw. The stand seems too small for the saw. PROS: It is easy to operate. The extension arms are supported from the ground making them very sturdy. Now for the cons; The people that make these ( and pretty much all of the miter saw stands currently available) must not have contractors field test them! The wheels need to be 2" bigger diameter. With the saw mounted all the way to the back the roller supports 4" (width) of the work piece. Makita sells the largest capacity (16" cut @ 90 degrees) saw with a stand that supports only 4" of the piece being cut. The stand needs to be 6" taller in the upright position so one can back it up to a tailgate and load it themselves. The loop that supports the stand in the upright position needs to be 6" longer so the saw is not trying to fall over if you look at it wrong. Sadly; with all it's shortcomings, it is still one of the best ones I have used recently.

Are the parts that attach the saw to the stand removable?

I had a delta stand last. And the attachment parts were removable from the stand. Made it impossible to store vertically as the whole thing would slide down and slam on the side.
Posée par: Chris
No...that’s really the nice part about this is leaving the saw in the stand. It doesn’t slide. This stand is for light trim. Don’t expect to put a 2x12x12 and not break something. For the price I expected a lot more.
