The blades are also adjustable, however they are not replaceable. Bolt locks secure the pivot bolts to prevent loosening. Comfort grip handles are very comfortable and the do not slip or pull off. Lanyard holes are integrated through the handles for easy tethering and for hanging on a storage wall. These are an ideal set of bolt cutters for the homeowner and for limited commercial use. These cutters are manufactured in china.

I wondered how hard it would be for me, a 30-something woman, to use. I tried this out on a screw first. No issues whatsoever!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Cut Hardened Steel Padlocks These 24" bolt cutters went through two padlocks left on my house from the previous owners. No problems at all with the bolt cutters. It was so much easier than I thought it was going to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, if it is a Milwaukee tool, you know that the quality is built in. The blades are forged steel that has been heat treated and are easily adjustable. The reason that I gave them a 4 star rating is because the blades are not replaceable. I tested this out on an old chain. And it worked very well with not much effort. A bolt cutter is something that you might not use every day. But when you need it, you need it. Cheap insurance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well-made high quality 24 inch bolt cutter that feels quite hefty with formed comfortable grips. The joints and pivots are tight yet operate smoothly. The bolt cutter features forged and heat treated steel blades for maximum durability. While this bolt cutter states a 7/16 inch maximum cut capacity the supplied literature states a maximum of 5/16 inch cutting capacity, maximum hardness of 48RHC. I tried to cut a link of 3/8 inch Grade 43 towing chain and was unable to cut through it. Then I used the bolt cutters to cut through a 5/16 inch Grade 5 bolt and had no problem. Overall, this is a very solid bolt cutter that is going to last along time and works great as long as you work within its rated capacity. They also come with a limited lifetime warranty so you can rest assured to get lots of use out of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new bolt cutter appears to be well-made and strong, with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. From time-to-time, over the years, I’ve wished I had a Bolt Cutter to use instead of the angle grinder, hacksaw, or Sawzall. There are some places where any of those can be problematic to use. I don’t really have anything that “needs” cutting right now, but I did find an old, rusty 5/16” trucker chain to try the cutter on. It cut through that old chain pretty well though it took quite a bit of leverage. I have one bad arm, so I had to place one handle on the concrete and push down on the other to get through the chain. There will be times that this won’t work for me. Trucker chain might be pushing the limits for the Max Hardness 48HRC cutter. Of course, smaller diameter, softer things would be much easier. If I needed to use one often I’d probably look for one with compound leverage to provide more force with less effort. However, I can recommend this Milwaukee Bolt Cutter to those with 2 good “strong” arms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bolt cutters are very heavy duty. Easy to use and the mechanical advantage designed to reduce the physical effort need to cut is great. Milwaukee always makes great tools and this one has the same look and performance as I expect from this company. This is a midsize bolt cutter ideal for the midsize jobs. I use it to cut midsize stock around 1/4" and it works great.

I was able to cut through a medium strength padlock without too much trouble, but it slightly dented the jaws. I don't think it could cut through a heavy duty padlock.

Can this cut through rubbermaid wire shelving?

Posée par: Jordan
With ease, look at the specs. You could get away with the smallest size, they’d be easier to wield.

Why are a lot of these reviews for some other cutter (18" or 30") size? If I wanted to know about those other cutters I'd look there.
Posée par: Tom
Probably because people don’t read what’s written in the description of the item that they’re reviewing.

Why isn't it cutting 3/8" rebar when it claims to be rated for 7/16" ?
