Rated 2 de 5 de par Quirky Hammerdrill Mode The Hammer mode is right adjacent to the regular drill mode. It is achieved by a "squishy" tightening of the Mode chuck just a bit past the regular drill mode. No noticeable feedback to discern if you tightened it enough. When reverting to normal drill mode, you need to be careful of where you place your finger as you unbind the Mode chuck from the hammer mode. It suddenly releases and it is easy to jam your finger against a sharp edge of plastic just above the trigger. Not very ergonomic at all. I was quite disappointed since I am generally a Milwaukee fan. This tool is going back to the store.

Rated 1 de 5 de par 0/3 with Milwaukee Kit I am a DIY homeowner and bought a three piece tool kit that included a M18 hammer drill, impact driver, and circular saw. In less than a month, the impact stopped working, swapped it out where I bought the kit. Less than three months later, the circular saw trigger stopped working and again, the local store swapped it out. Now, ten months into owning this kit and the hammer drill trigger stopped working. So, back to the local store to swap it out and they said you need to send it in for repair. I completed the process to send the hammer drill in for repair, so we shall see if Milwaukee stands behind their tools. Pretty disappointed at this point with Milwaukee but I am to invested with their line to swap; for now. The tools all had very little use and were not abused or neglected by any means as you can see in the photos. Three tools in a kit, and all three failed in less than a year with minimal use. You pay a premium for what you think will be premium tools, and this has been a major let down.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Just quit on me I bought this drill about nine months ago part of a four piece set. I've only used it a dozen times or so. The other day while drilling a hole just stop. Despite trying everything I can think of I still can't get it to work. There used to be a service center 10 miles away, now the closest one is a couple hundred. I love Milwaukee Tools but Milwaukee is making Hard. I have to 9 amp hour batteries less than 6 months old both of them won't hold a charge. And I can't seem to get a warranty on them. We'll see how the hammer drill warranty goes.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Great when working I purchased a 2 pc kit in Oct 2021. So about 6 months ago. I was using the 2902-20 for some pilot holes prior to driving screws into wood. On the next pilot hole the drill stopped working. The light would come on when the trigger was engaged, but now drill action. I switched out batteries. Same result. Check the batteries in the impact and they powered that perfectly. The drill is only 6 months old and it doesn't get used but once of twice a month. Very disappointed. I have used Milwaukee tools for many years without issues before.

Rated 1 de 5 de par The Milwaukee wobble....again I got this one to replace one that wobbles. The drill being replaced was not right. It vibrated, especially when drilling metal. At first it seemed as if the drill bit was bent so i changed bits. The vibration would be the same, no change. After changing the bits a few times with the same results, I had to look closer. It's not obvious, I really had to look close to see it. Either something is bent, or something wasn't machined properly. Being curious, I dug deeper. I changed drills to an older (not Milwaukee) extra one, and behold, the vibration smoothed out. What a disappointment. Did I bend or somehow damage the Milwaukie drill? I'm not perfect, maybe I dropped it? So I order a new one. The new one does the same thing. So, if your holes drift off center, you break a bit or two, and drilling isn't smooth look at the drill. I'm just one of many who have reported this problem. Check for yourself. It seems most people give up and change brands of power tools. That's my solution too. Just because it costs more doesn't make it better!

Rated 5 de 5 de par My go to Drill This is my favorite out of the 3 drills that I own. 2902 this model 2804 Gen 3 fuel 2704 Gen 2 Fuel The Gen 3 fuel is more powerful but I don't like the electronic clutch. Even on the lowest clutch setting it's too powerful and strips the screw heads if you're not careful. The 2902 has better clutch settings for the type of work I do which is anything smaller than 1/4-20 screws. I only bust out the Gen 3 when using hole saws through hollow metal doors for lock installs. Can't comment on the hammer function, I have a dedicated SDS plus for masonry.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great durable little tool! I had to cut out a small half circle in a concrete sidewalk to accommodate a concrete pile. So I drilled several small holes all along the half circle. It took a little time with having to charge my light duty battery 4 times but it got the job done. My chuck got stuck but was able to free it by using a cloth over the chuck & a pipe wrench. The drill also got a little hot, while drilling so many holes, but cooled enough to keep using after the battery had been charged. Days later I drilled 8 small holes to secure 2 exterior vent covers to a concrete wall with no problem. Very handy well made little tool!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Fantastic Drill As a contractor, I use this hammer drill constantly. It has incredible power, is extremely comfortable and does not burn through battery power. Highly recommended.

Add schematic says 500 inch pounds. The product description says 725 inch pounds. I like this but would like to know before I buy it. Which is correct?

Posée par: Terry
My question was about torque. Not rpms. Maybe you should read the manual too.

I have a Milwaukee 2803-20 drill driver. How does the slip clutch work ? It does not slip like my Dewalt does. Is this some kind of electronic clutch instead of mechanical one ? I've sent it in twice already. I don't understand how this one works.

Posée par: Spark
It works like all clutch's you set the number on the collar according to how tight or deep you want the fastener to be. Just make sure the collar is not set on drill or hammer as this over rides the clutch.
