Rated 5 de 5 de par Works on exterior 3/4" stucco wall with wire mesh I wanted to vent a portable AC out in a windowless garage but had to cut through a stucco wall that was 3/4" thick with wire mesh. This carbide hole saw cut through the wall with ease and took about 60 seconds. The cut was very smooth and clean. It was also the perfect size opening for the Speedi-Product 5" round galvanized wall vent with spring return damper. This wall vent was also perfectly sized for my PAC wall vent. So if you need to cut a 5 3/8" hole in a stucco wall - you need this hole saw.

I need a 5 3/8' hole saw that will cut a hole in 3/4'' spruce wood. And I need a 5 7/8' hole saw that will cut a hole in 3/4'' spruce wood.

This is not your best choice for wood. Use one that has teeth instead of carbide.

I was thinking about cutting through two pieces of plywood or particle board that car clamped together. How thick can this saw cut through at once?

Posée par: JD K
Hi JD K, My suggestion is that you cut your material one at a time. If you must cut the material together, that max would be 1.25"

Will a Lenox 2L arbor fit the Milwaukee 48-56-0303 5 3/8" recessed light hole saw?

If the Lenox 2L arbor will not fit, which Milwaukee arbor(s) will fit the 5 3/8" hole saw? Thanks.
Posée par: jim
Yes it will but I think that Lenox has a hollow center where you chuck up I crushed mine with big hole saws. I like the Milwaukee's they have a solid center. Any of the arbors that have the 2 guide pins will work then its wether you have or want a 3/8 or 1/2 chuck.
