Rated 2 de 5 de par Terrible product The stand itself is good. I like the folding legs and the sturdiness. BUT, i have to agree with most other reviews, the arm extension are complete fail. They are weak and just straight up a foolish design. I cant sinceraly believe someone or a group of people signed off on this and told each other what a great job the did. And i have to say, as far as my knowledge goes, the havent even a upgraded for this or even sell a upgrade package for it. I have been a long time Milwaukee customer and continue to do so. This is honestly the first complaint i have had with any of they’re previous designs.i guess thats why im so shocked by it.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Just not what we want After comparing this to the dewalt and rigid stand I’m gonna be mounting my new Milwaukee mitre saw to the rigid stand, call me old fashioned but I like my saw to stay mounted to the stand. If Milwaukee decides to make a rolling stand again I’d highly recommend they utilize a straight axle for the wheels for strength, minimum tire diameter of 8” so stairs and gravel aren’t an issue (the rigid ones are really nice) and finally multiple height adjustments so people over 6’ don’t have to kill their back all day. If Milwaukee can make that happen I’ll eat my own foot and throw my rigid stand into moving traffic.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Great, sturdy stand. Lame extension supports. I have been using this for a few months and I love how sturdy the actual stand is and how easy it is to manage. But the as the other review suggests the end supports leave a huge amount to be desired. They keep falling off when being transported. They aren't locked on there very tight so if you want to transport the stand you pretty much have to take them off every time otherwise they get bent when moved around. Because they are such a big feature on the saw for me (often cutting lengths of material 8 ft long) and loading and unloading the stand into the van a couple times a day I can't give this more than 2 stars.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Awesome stand! I can't believe another reviewer left a negative review because the stand didn't have enough bells and whistles on it! It is solid as a rock! It was a little tough to get my 12" dual-bevel sliding mitre saw onto it, but I suspect I may have installed the brackets slightly out of alignment. With the weight of that saw, make sure you have everything perfectly aligned if you don't want to wrestle with it. If I could suggest one little bell and whistle i would like to see, it would be a bar that i could screw high up on the wall so I could mount the saw (or any other tool I have on spare brackets) out of the way when not in use.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Absolute Trash For the price I would expext a solid well designed stand. The fold out design is good and quick but the extensions are complete trash. They are so flimsy and made of light gauge metal and held on by a little bitty nut. Anything more than a 2x4 will likely bend the stops and when you put in away for storage it rests the flimsy extensions. Dont buy it. You will be dissapointed. And i am dissapointed that there are people giving 5 stars! WHY! Its not remotely deserving. Maybe if all you want to cut is pieces of 12” trim board! Shame!!!!

Rated 2 de 5 de par Lightweight but easily damaged I’ve had this saw stand for awhile. Though it’s lightweight and portable. The metal brackets for the end stops and the saw feet are very thin metal and easily bent. All the plastic caps on my saw bracket feet have broken off and are bent. The stops are bent now to the point of I use pliers to get them up right to make them useable. As a contractor on the move from job to job. It’s not a robust saw stand. Nor are the saw bracket feet. I have tried profusely to get parts for the last year from the service center and still no luck. Most times just a run around answer on parts arrival. In fact they phoned and said they were in. BUT on arrival, found nothing. So its a throw away tool once your tired of the oddities to keep it workable.

Rated 2 de 5 de par At least the color matches my miter saw Super disappointing product. Milwaukee should offer everyone that bought this item a refund. Poorly designed work supports. Impossible to make repeat cuts because of the slop in the ends. Leveling leg is mounted to a plate that is just tack welded in. Broke after 2 months of light use. It was a stable saw stand until this point. Love my Milwaukee tools, hate this stand. The first Milwaukee stand was better but it had issues too. I should have listened to the reviews. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere if you are in the market for a stand.

Rated 1 de 5 de par DO NOT BUY Your engineers should be fired for making this. The end supports constantly come loose and fall off. I had to thru bolt all parts on after purchasing new nuts and bolts from hardware shop and drilling out larger holes. The plastic wing nuts just kept coming loose after a few minutes of use. What a terrible design. The end brackets that support the wood should never have been designed this way. Their is no way this stand was tested before being sent to production. I even watched the mikwuakee reps doing a demo in the store and end support fell off infront of eveyone.

How wide of a board can be cut?

Posée par: HomeDepotCustomer
the width of cut depends on what the saw can cut for example our 2734.20 can cut 11 inch wide and our 6955.20 can cut 13.5 at 90 degree

How do you install the M18 miter saw to the brackets? The instructions only show bolts but it came with 2 washers as well and one of the washers doesn't fit in the recessed hole for the bolt.
Posée par: Rich
I have the electric model with the 12" blade, but probably the stand is the same. I remember having problems either assembling the stand or attaching the brackets to the saw. Milwaukee provided poor instructions, and no on-line videos helped. I don't recall how I finally figured this out, but maybe photos of the bolt and bracket will help. I have attached two. The top view shows a black plate between the saw base and the bracket; the bolt passes through this plate. The bottom view shows that the bolt passes through a narrow plate on the underside of the bracket. The narrow plate includes a threaded hole which enables it to serve as a nut for the bolt.
