Rated 1 de 5 de par Never buying Moen again Purchased because I thought it was a quality brand. Very disappointed! Having completed the not so simple installation it was found to be leaking from both the handle and below the sink, eventually flooding the kitchen. Tried to call their helpline at the number provided and was told there would be a FIVE HOUR wait to speak to someone so opted for a callback. When they eventually called I was in the middle of a call, which I terminated but too late! Called immediately to rearrange and was told the next call could be arranged SEVEN DAYS LATER! Obviously gave up on the product and chose an alternative brand for exactly the same price and wow! So much better in every respect!

Rated 1 de 5 de par Two issues and subpar customer service experience Installed 15 months ago. It drips a few times when you turn it off. Our old cheap Glacier Bay faucet did not do this. Annoying, but I kept the Adler (mistake). After 1 year, when the head was in spray mode, it began to NOT revert back to stream mode when turned on again. Very annoying as you would unexpectedly get sprayed. I expected Moen would say soak the head in vinegar. When I called the automated system told me they would call back; however, the soonest call back time was in 6 days!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Love this pull-down faucet. I thought I would like but... Love this pull-down faucet. I thought I would like but it is so much better than the older, non-pull-down faucet that it replaced. It's much easier to clean the sink and the head of the faucet also pivots when you pull it down. There is also a small switch on the back of the faucet to change to spray-mode (no idea what it is actually called). The best part is that it automatically switches back to normal when you turn the water off (so you don't get surprised the next time you use it).

Rated 4 de 5 de par Pretty Good My wife and I decided to replace our Kohler kitchen faucet (which stopped turning smoothly) with this Moen Adler Pull-Down Faucet. It is certainly a big step up from the Kohler which used cheap plastic internal parts. My wife picked out the Moen Adler because it has a nice look to it that fits our kitchen's style. It is modern, simple, and traditional all at the same time. It was very easy to install and the directions were clear and well written. It probably only took me 15 minutes to install the new faucet. The pull down spray head is nice and it retracts up without much guidance. The handle (lever) also feels heavier than I expected... which is a good thing. I was worried it would be cheap and break easily but I don't think that will be the case. The only CONS are the following: the button on the back of the nozzle to switch from a steady stream to spray seems kind of cheap. It's black plastic. It seems like Moen could have upgraded it a bit more. The second con is that the spray stream is fairly narrow. Our old faucet had a wider pattern which made rinsing dishes quick. I'm sure we'll get used to the Moen's spray pattern in time. Overall, we are very happy with our upgrade. For the price we don't have many complaints.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good looking and works well We have not had this faucet very long, but so far we are impressed with it. It is not much different in appearance and functionality than the store brand that we had previously, but that one was noticeably poorer build quality. At first the spray function would not disengage the way it was supposed to when the top was turned off, and later the spray function would not stay on. Also, the flex hose was much stiffer, so it would not retract nearly as well as this one does. Although the Moen was quite a bit more expensive than the store brand, I think that in this case it's a matter of you get what you pay for, which I don't believe is always true, and I am confident it will continue to function well.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good looking faucet! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instructions were easy to follow and clear. Install was simple until I found the nuts from the faucet water lines were so much smaller than the water lines from the wall. Smaller than standard half inch. So, I had to go to the store and get adapters. Once the adapters were installed, all else was smooth. The pressure was increased tremendously. The spray head is awesome and the on/off handle is easy and responsive. Looks great and the finish doesn't show fingerprints.

Rated 4 de 5 de par I have a 3 hole sink and the deck plate... I have a 3 hole sink and the deck plate covered the two extra holes so that was good. The faucet does rock because it is not stabilized where the 2 unused holes are. I would suggest a hook over the plastic deck-plate form that goes under the deck plate. The hook needs to be long enough to attach a nut from underneath the sink. It hould be long enough to attach a winged nut to hold the deck plate secure. I don't know if I got the technical terms correct but I hope you get the idea. But for this one small thing I would have rated it 5 stars. The faucet itself works well, looks great and I am enjoying it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Moen is a brand you can trust and one that I have been purchasing for over 20 years. This was by far a DIY dream to install. Moen includes an installation tool that makes it incredibly easy to tighten the mounting nut under your sink without having to buy a specialty tool. The installation directions are straight forward and easy if you follow them step by step. One thing that I appreciate about Moen is the vast number of faucet designs for just about any need and most faucets come in several finishes to choose from. The Spot Resist stainless finish does in fact work well as does the Reflex and PowerClean features. Please take the time to register your purchase with Moen for their Lifetime Warranty. I have used the warranty before and they really do take care of their customers. Once you are done installing, pour yourself a cup of coffee and admire the new addition to the kitchen.

Does this need to be installed by a plumber or can it be installed by anyone who's able to follow written instructions?

Posée par: sgraham30
I don't have any plumbing experience, and I was able to install it with few issues (none of which have anything to do with the faucet itself). Connecting the lines to the faucet was the only problem I had and that was due to the tight space I was working in and me being a bigger guy.

What is the distance in the arc from the faucet end to the mounting pole. Our current Moen faucet is 9-10 inches and as a result when you turn on the sprayer it sprays past the sink wall. Not a very good design.

Posée par: Richard
It is just under 7 inches and the sprayer detached if you need to move it lower. We use it for a smaller laundry sink and it works fine.

Posée par: Carla
Side to side. It is the best faucet that I have bought it doesn't even get water spots. You will never regret buying it

Are the braided supply lines plastic or steel? A commenter mentioned plastic braided, but the description only says braided, and doesn't say steel or plastic. (I know that sometimes comments/reviews are for the wrong product.)

Posée par: Bruce
