Rated 1 de 5 de par Flow rate is too low for a decent shower I bought a brand new house with 65 psi city water pressure with this shower head installed in the master bath shower. The pressure and flow from this showerhead are completely inadequate. I don't like taking long showers. I like to get in and get out. However, with this showerhead, I'll bet my showers are two or three times longer than with other showerheads. I don't see where the water savings comes in when you reduce the flow but have to increase the time the water is running. Rethink this design Moen.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great looking shower head I wasn't blown away by this product but I am happy with it. I have a 40 gal water tank and the hot water doesn't last long enough for back to back showers. My old shower head put out 2.5gpm and this new one puts out 1.73gpm. Mathmaticly my hot water should last longer which it does but I did have to sacrafice the great water pressure I had with the 2.5gpm shower head.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Defective Product Aug 31 my husband and I purchased our new home with KB. They installed this shower head in all our showers. In our downstairs shower, the first shower head broke apart completely while I was showering my 3yr old. A KB construction manager came and replaced the shower head with another. We even had our water pressure checked. Just last night, the shower head busted. The center piece and spring came out of the outer part. This product was made with cheap plastic and I don’t feel it is a safe product anymore, given this has happened twice.

This is a 1.75 gpm unit , for a stronger spray buy the 2.5 gpm head which looks exactly the same . On the plus side using this water saver head we never run out of hot water now .

Rated 1 de 5 de par Awful Product! I’ve only lived in my house since Aug 31. I’ve had this shower head replaced once in one bathroom, and the second replacement busted. Now another one busted apart in another bathroom! Nobody has misused this product. We’ve even had the pressure turned down in our home twice!

Rated 4 de 5 de par Basic showerhead For the price, this is a good showerhead. The water pressure is reduced from what we had previously but is still acceptable. The showerhead has a narrow spray which cannot be changed and the swivel head has limited range to the side.

How do I clean an existing Moen showerhead like this?

Hello Gary. Thank you so much for your interest in Moen products. The Moen low flow showerhead cannot be taken apart for cleaning. As an alternative, we recommend soaking the head in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for at least an hour. This procedure will facilitate the breakdown of mineral buildup. If you have additional questions, please call Moen at 1-800-289-6636 our business hours are 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday EST.
