Multinautic dock ladder 15521: Pros: Appears to be made well Has an attractive finish The ladder’s angle, wide steps, and hand rails facilitate an easy climb out of the lake Very easy to install Cons: The ladder cannot be tilted out of the water straight up or fully back to rest upon the dock when not in use, which would prevent algae growth on the ladder. Multinautic does not make a flip up dock ladder kit for this particular dock ladder model (15521). It would be great and most helpful if they did.

Rated 5 de 5 de par 5* ladder We were extremely pleased with this product. Assembled in minutes and installation was simple and quick. Very good design. So nice having flat stairs, instead of rungs and especially nice having hand rails to climb out of the water. Would highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 de 5 de par defective Ladder arrived with dock bracket holes drilled in wrong place. Contacted manufacturer -stated 15-50 ladder sets shipped have this problem. Will have to wait 3 months for new brackets to be made in China, will not have local shop make them because they cost a little more than they are willing to pay - obviously QC and reputation are not important factors

I neede to be able to enter and exit without the strain of our old wooden step that were ladder-like. These steps work beautifully. They arrive quickly; they were easy to assemble and we are thrilled with our purchase!

Rated 5 de 5 de par excellent well constructed ladder I bought the five step version of this last month. It was exactly as advertised and really easy to remove and re attach - takes about 10 seconds. This products which is made in Canada is much better value than the American made competition. In addition their customer support line is excellent.

The length puts the legs right on top of the sand and steps are wide and comfortable on the feet when getting out. Build and install was a snap, no problems there.I gave this a 4 star rather than 5 as the first box I received only had the side rails.

The picture shows the top curving toward the dock and the hinge area is flat relative to the dock. The actual curve is straight up with the curvature on the dock side resulting in the hinging connection to the dock not proper.

I am interested in purchasing Mutinautic angled dock ladder, but not sure if I should get the 4 or 5 step? My dock depth is about 10” and water surface ranges from 2- 6 “ from bottom of dock . The water depth is approx 20’.

Posée par: GAPort
Hi, to help you choose, figure out that there's a 12-in span between each rung. So, from top of dock to bottom end, there are about 4 ft for the 4-step ladder and 5 ft for the 5-step one. But as the deepness of water is not a problem as you're saying that it's about 20 ft, both models should fit. Thanks for asking.

Does this dock ladder have any weight restrictions??

Posée par: swimmer
We have had very heavy i.e. 280 lb people use it with no problem. I regret not buying the 5 step rather than the 4 step - otherwise very happy with product.

How does this ladder attach onto the dock?

Posée par: chico
Hi, as you can see on the second picture, 2 loops (footman loops) are screwed onto the decking. The addition of a reinforcement plank under the dock is recommended. On the ladder handrails, there are some "J" hooks that will grab the footman loops just by inclining the ladder. I'll ask to have more pictures and the Instruction guide added to this Product information page. Please have a look at ladder #15013. It has the same kind of attachment. Feel free to call us if you still have questions 1-800-585-1237

does the ladder need to rest on the bottom?

does the ladder need to rest on the bottom?
Posée par: carol
No. The water is 25 feet at the end of our dock where installed our ladder. That is why we needed a ladder that flared out a bit. This new ladder makes it easy to swim up to it and pull yourself up and out. Straight ladders make climbing out so much more difficult.

I had the same problem as Glenn. How do we get this adapter? Assume this is a design fault and we should get the adapters free of charge?

Can this ladder be used with the flip up kit?
Posée par: EmiliaT
Hello Emilia, No the 4-step angled ladder can't be used with the flip up kit. This model comes with "J" hooks and can be easily taken out of the water.
