Rated 5 de 5 de par Quick and easy assembly but sizes way too small This product went together in literally about 15 minutes! Once assembled, it looked very nice - perfect for an urban backyard. However, we purchased the extra large size for our Irish Wolfhound and I think that, at most, a retriever or shepherd would be about the largest dog that could comfortably fit into it. The dimensions on the box and web site are the exterior dimensions and you lose quite a bit of space because of the corners that interlock (similar to the old fashioned Lincoln Logs toy sets that kids built minature log cabins with) take away a lot of the interior floor space. Overall, if I didn't have such a large dog, I would definitely have kept this product and would still recommend it as long as people kept the size issue in mind.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Easy to put together, sturdy, too small for my large dog. This is a great dog house and looks like it will last since it's made of synthetic materials. Unfortunately it's too small for our 70lb Rottweiler mix (she can just squeeze through the door and curl up inside) but we didn't discover that until we put it together. Now I guess we're stuck with it.

Sizing depends on climate. If your pet is going to be outside in cooler or cold weather, you don't want the house too big. Proper sizing in that instance is large enough for the pet to enter, turn around and lay down with nothing hanging out. In warmer weather, sizing is not all that important. The dimensions of the XL model are as follows : Exterior: Side-to-Side: 42.5"; Front-to-Back: 32.5"; Height at Front: 29.5" Interior: Side-to-Side: 37.2"; Front-to-Back: 23.3"; Height at Front: 25.2" Recommended Weight: Up to 140 Pounds. If this seems too small, our Jumbo version might be the answer: Exterior: Side-to-Side: 46.4"; Front-to-Back: 39.0"; Height at Front: 37.6" Interior: Side-to-Side: 41.5"; Front-to-Back: 29.7"; Height at Front: 33.1" Recommended Weight: Up to 200 Pounds. I know it can handle 200 pounds as I have sat on the roof and I am close to 200 pounds. I hope this helps in your decision. Remember all our outdoor products carry a 10 year warranty against defect and deterioration from natural causes.

Yes. With the high content of reclaimed wood fibers in ecoFLEX you can use common wood working tools to cut and drill any of the panels.

Can I transfer it to this house?

My dog has a dog house furnace (heater) in it,can I use it in this house?

We have actually tested a dog house heater in our houses and no issues were found after the testing had been completed. However, I would recommend that nothing that exceeds 130 degrees come in contact with any dog house or be near where your pet might come in contact with it. Some heaters have been known to overheat and reach temperatures in excess of 180 degrees.
