Rated 4 de 5 de par Decent product, good hold, no complaints Exhibits pretty decent hold onto fibreboard and plastic for a wall shower, use clamps and screws to hold down bent or curved plastic if using to build an extra shower for the plastic shower surround

Rated 1 de 5 de par PL Premium Difficult to Use The PL Premium I recently purchased was so stiff that it needed both hands on the trigger of the caulking gun to push the adhesive out of the tube and the adhesive went all over the place. I contacted the manufacturer, Lepage, to report a defective product. I was asked for the lot number but it was missing from the tube. Lepage said they could not follow up without the lot number. I checked at Home Depot and found several different lot numbers on the shelf. The lot numbers were stamped on the plunger but easily removed with the wipe of a finger. While using the tube of adhesive, the lot number is wiped away and Lepage will not have to follow up on defective products.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Problem removing Lepage PL Premium from floor My contractor installed my hardwood flooring with this stuff. Glued hard as a rock - extremely strong. BUT, also impossible to remove completely when dry. My floors are ruined with unremovable blemishes from this stuff. Lepage says remove mechanically (read: scraping or sanding). Does not completely work, and I am now faced with the prospect of refinishing brand new wood and negating a 35 year Mfr warranty. Also a useless product for DIY- twice the work(use then cleanup).

Rated 5 de 5 de par You should only use PL products if you are certain you will never have to move or adjust that which you are glueing. I've used this product to glue the baseboards onto the shower base, glue the bathroom mirror onto the wall and various other permanent glue jobs. You have about 1/2 hour to work with it and make adjustments. After that you'll need a crowbar and lots of time and money to repair the damage from trying to rip whatever you've glued on, off. I recommend wearing latex gloves when using PL because this stuff is hard to get off. Finally, in tube form, you can't save this stuff so what you don't use is lost so you may want to group the jobs. However, it now comes in liquid form (about 300ml for $7.95) as well. This is probably the strongest bonding agent on the market at least that I'm aware of. Recommend.

Rated 5 de 5 de par BEST GLUE I found out about this glue, and used it to fix the roller for the awning on my trailer, and I'ts been good ever since. I glue bricks together as I'm too lazy to mix mortar, and the big bad wolf won't blow them down... I have a Ryobi cordless nail gun and between it and that glue, there is no need to drag out the air compressor, as the nails hold it long enough for the glue to set. Most of my bathroom it held together with this glue. I hate to see the guy who wishes to take it apart to renovate..

Rated 5 de 5 de par And you said "Make sure it does not move" Ok you want to glue something and you never want it to move, you want it permanently stuck there, you never want to worry about it moving, you are sure you want it in that place, stuck forever and ever and ever, and most of all YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU ARE GLUEING IT IN THE RIGHT PLACE then this is the product for you. PL Polyurethane Construction Adhesive 300Ml is the product for you. You have about 45 minutes to work with the product, after that you are on borrowed time, after 24 hours you won’t be able to budge the joint. Floor joist, wall board, wood metal, you name it, you can glue it. This product holds it’s own. This product gets 5 thumbs up Good Luck Ron

Rated 5 de 5 de par A Construction Miracle I have done a major renovation in our kitchen and bathroom. We started with the bathroom not using the adhesive then moving to the kitchen using this product. In the kitchen it was used on subflooring, behind drywall, even at the joining of studs, cabinets to name a few. After 6 weeks we now hear creaks and notice small flooring movement in the bathroom. The kitchen however is strong and sound.the bathroom is adjacent the kitchen on the same floor platform so I know its the adhesive making the difference. Now wish we had used this product sooner.

Is this suitable for glueing MDF together? I am making a 2x4 platform with melanine-coated MDF for the decorative surface. I'll use a brad driver to achieve some hold during drying, and it will be purely decorative, not structural. Should I bee OK? Tom

Posée par: Tom_
LePage PL Premium is suitable for bonding MDF board to MDF board. If bonding to the melamine coated side it is recommended that you conduct a pre-test to determine that there is acceptable adhesion for your given application.

can this product be used to secure an under mount sink to a marble top?

Posée par: Barry
LePage PL Premium Construction Adhesive is not recommended as the sole method of support for under-mount sinks. Undermount sink clips or some other form of permanent support system is required.

Can I use it to install hardwood stairs without using nails? Thanks

Posée par: Wilson
The LePage PL Premium is the best product for installing stair treads and risers. However pins are required to ensure there is no movement during the cure. Keep in mind this is a traffic bearing situation so mechanical fastening should be used in this installation

Can this be used to bond vinyl floor tiles to a wall?

Posée par: Toca
It is possible but the intend use cannot be guaranteed. The success will depend upon the size or scope of your project, wall surface condition and of course the type of vinyl tile you are using. It is recommend that you test adhesion with the materials you are working with before starting your project.
