Rated 5 de 5 de par great tool Great tool for removing that 12 yr old vinyl tile that would not budge otherwise. I was worried about the blade breaking on me, but those fears were unfounded as the scraper was up to the task. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Happy with purchase! In looking for a tool to scrape off my lioleum flooring I stumbled across this. After reading some of the positive reviews I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. I was dealing with two layers of lioleum glued to plywood subfloor. I used a thin prybar and hammer to get the floor started, scored the flooring with a knife then proceeded to use the floor scraper to remove sections. I would recommend two people working together, one to scrape and the other to lift the material. I was really impressed with how well this tool worked as I read horror stories about removing lioleum. I would have given it a 5 out of 5 but thought it could have used a slightly sharper blade. Overall I was very, very happy!

Applied epoxy to concrete floor 4 days ago. I now wish to remove it (long story). Will this tool help ?

    Posée par: Jim8642
Thank you for your inquiry. The Roberts floor scraper is a highly effective floor scraper for removing existing flooring like marble, ceramic tile and wood floors etc. Epoxy can be migratory substrate treatment and may need scraping along with grinding as part of the removal process. You may want to consider contacting the manufacturer for removal suggestions.

Would this tool be the right one to scrape really old dried up glue from cement front steps? The previous owners had that outdoor carpet on the front steps and we need to get it off as it's old and holding moisture. Thanks!

Thanks for your inquiry. I would some adhesive remover or cleaner to soften the adhesive, following their recommendations and use the scraper to remove softened adhesive.

Can I use this for removing mortar on old tiles?

I have a bunch of tiles that have been torn up, I would like to use them again. Will this tool help me strip/scrape away the old mortar allowing me to reuse the tiles?
    Posée par: Anonyme
This tool would be awkward due to the long handle, so a vice and grinder would be your best recommendation. The chemical reaction between mortar and the back of a tile is very strong, especially in the deep crevasses of most tiles, so using a hammer and chisel may risk breaking the tiles if too much pressure is applied.
