Rated 5 de 5 de par Easy to use, and works well! I used this last week to set in four anchor bolts into the face of a concrete wall for mounting a sign. I used the Epoxy with a metal caulking gun I also bought from HD. Yes it is a bit hard to squeeze the product out using the caulking gun, but it wasn't too bad at all. More importantly the mixing nozzle helped get the product into the drilled hole, and the product was really thick and set quickly allowing me to get the anchor bolts straight.

Rated 2 de 5 de par FastSet Anchoring Epoxy 296 ml - No Mixing Tube! I bought this about a month ago. The product worked fine but you did not enclose the required mixing tube. I had to search all over the remote town I was in to find one. This required about 100 km of travel and an extra 3 hours to use this material. Not good enough

Rated 4 de 5 de par Easy to Use This product is easy to use...even just part of a tube. You must discard the mixing nozzle once used once and re-cap the two chambers. Make sure you recap white to white so it does not harden. You can use more from the tube later by un-capping and installing a new nozzle. It us important to note that you have used all the product when your plunger is half way into the tube. It would be helpful if each tube included two nozzles, or extra nozzles were sold separately at a nominal price.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Only 50% of each tube usable I just purchased Quikcrete Fast Set Anchoring Epoxy, I have a high strength commercial grade caulking gun and have used other brands anchoring epoxy often, so I'm familiar with the nature of the product. Tried two tubes, each time the epoxy cured inside the actual cartridge (not the nozzle) when the tube was about half way used up. I have a high strength commercial grade caulking gun, similar to the one shown in the Quikcrete How To Video, and have used other brands anchoring epoxy a few times in the past, so I'm familiar with the nature of the product. I checked the nozzle, no epoxy was cured, I took off the nozzle, nothing was cured on the cartridge side. I even tried a new nozzle, and nothing was dispensable from the cartridge. It was like a small amount of epoxy cured on the inside somehow preventing a tubes full use. I tried twice, and even sped up my working speed on the 2nd tube. The temperate was 25 deg C outside, but the substrate would have been 10-15 deg C. I tried to use up each tube within 5 minutes (even timed it!). The tube itself says working time is 11 minutes, I think it's more like 2-3 minutes. Even so, I've used other products with a working time of 2-3 minutes and was able to use the entire tube no problem. So, the product works well, but I was only able to get 50% of each tube used, effectively doubling the price. Would not recommend.

Rated 1 de 5 de par busyconcreteguy This product requires a $75 caulking gun, you'll never get the material out with a regular gun, it will break it. Home Depot doesn't sell guns for this material. I tried another one that Home Depot had by Sika. It came out no problem and worked well.

Is is possible to increase the viscosity or thin the material inside the tube to make it easier to dispense by heating it somehow. Maybe immerse briefly in a tub of hot water or place in a 250 degree F oven for a couple of minutes....microwave????

The cartridge is made of plastic, so just stand it in hot water prior to use. Using an inexpensive dual cartridge caulking gun will make dispensing the epoxy effortless even in cold temperatures.
