Rated 5 de 5 de par Easy To Install And They Work! The title says it all. I was able to install over 150 feet in one afternoon. Every nuance of the installation was covered in the instructions. I was unable to complete the installation due to time, leaving sections less than five feet to see install. My wife graded the areas under the drip lines of the house. It rained the next day and where was a Raindiverter installed, there was no drip line on the ground. However, new drip lines appeared where I had not installed the product. And the total cost was 1/3 of the estimates for traditional gutters!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Works great! We have so many trees that no matter what guards we put on the gutters they would still clog. We put these up instead and its been fantastic! It's dry up by the house, water is directed away, no runs through our mulch from water pouring down like we used to have. I highly recommend these. We always get the gutter salesmen coming by trying to sell us gutters and not knowing what we have. We'll never go back to the traditional gutters. The thing that goes on the roof over doorways to direct the water away from doors blew off our roof the next day after putting it up so be sure to get a better glue.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Rainhandler, Not a Gutter Product does not work exactly as described. The drops of rain that go through the rainhandler are still larger then the natural rain drops but smaller then what comes off the roof with no gutters. What it does do is to move the line of rain drops from falling directly under the house over hang (with no gutters) further away from the house, which will still scribes a line into the ground below is a plus. In my case it is a crusher run driveway. It does allow you to stand in front of the basement entrance door without getting direct hits on the head with large drops coming off of the roof which is two stories high at this point. As mentioned earlier the rainhandler does not work as good as I would like it to. My recommendation is a yes/no. We will see how it works once it starts to snow to see if there is any ice build up. The reason regular gutters are not being used is because of ice build up in the winter months.

Easy to mount but need to be careful to keep them straight (since they're only 5' long). Putting many together along a lower roof line, like a porch, will quickly show off slight variations in height. They look pretty good too, not very noticeable (like gutters). It would be nice to have a rain diverter (a 5-10' flat but angled piece mounted under the shingles to divert water away from a doorway under the roof) available to purchase along with these. They work well to get rid of drip lines, although it would be nice to have slightly longer brackets that would mount them a little further out from the fascia, heavy rain will sometimes overshoot them since they don't stick out very far. Happy with the results.

After testing with a garden hose, they work well to dissipate the water sheeting off the roof and now with raindrops, the mulch is not washed away like before the installation. BTW, I'm 75 years old and had no problems installing these by myself. Great product.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Seems like they work really well so far. Our house... Seems like they work really well so far. Our house had rain gutters on it, but we hated where the downspouts were/are, they dump in awful locations but I could never figure out anything better. We decided to give these a try. I had calculated what I needed, put the order together on my phone, then my phone quit working. When I finally made the order from a different device, I forgot to add the one extra section to make the total distance. In the end, this was kind of nice because, when we got rain the other night, I could see the direct comparison to having these vs not having them. Based on my observations, I will be removing the rest of the rain gutters from our house and replacing them with these! I think it will be much better for our needs!

how many hanger are in the package? If I prefer a shorter o/c lay out can I purchase more with / or on my order and the cost per hanger is how much

Posée par: Paul
The extra hangers are worth the small price if you live in a heavy snow zone. You will be glad you did. We used 4 brackets per 5ft length instead of 4.

Will these hold up to hail? We get a handful of heavy hail storms per year and I'm afraid they will end up dented and ruined pretty quickly....
Posée par: Danielle
No, they are light weight aluminum. I have had golf ball size hail one time and was able to straighten the louvers back to functioning. Pea and nickel size hail they seem to do ok with. Of coarse Mother Nature will do what it will. If it gets damaged bad enough a new roof may be needed to which all would fall under a insurance claim.

If one wants a different color, which option would best for painting: white or natural aluminum?

Posée par: Tro
Natural Aluminum is the best choice if you are painting them yourself.

How do these rainhandlers stand up to winter weather and snow accumulation?

How do these rainhandlers stand up to winter weather and snow accumulation?
Posée par: DarenInNM
These stood up well. No damage found after first winter. However, We will be removing this system for two reasons. First, though they claim not to dam up with ice, we did get huge ice-cycles on them (worse than standard gutters). Secondly, even though they do disperse rain water as advertised, the water does not get moved far enough away from the foundation so we experienced moisture in our basement (much more than with conventional gutters). Thirdly, when it is raining, you tend to get pretty wet just walking out of your entry door or garage as the water is not moved to the edge of your roof as with gutters. We will be installing seamless gutters this fall.
