Rated 5 de 5 de par Great combo sander set for the special price it was... Great combo sander set for the special price it was offered at when I purchased it $79.00. I already had one of each but now I can use them set up with different grits of paper without having to stop and change the paper. Hand vibration is minimal but they are a sander and you do feel some but it is controlled very well. The sheet sander is a breeze to attach the paper and the clamps holds the sander paper very well. The orbit sander has Velcro pad making it a snap to apply the sand paper. Good as good can be on dust collection bag but I use mine hooked up to a dust collector system via hose. Very pleased with my purchase.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Very dissapointing I bought this sander based on the high reviews. When I used the sander it would jump all over the workpeice. I tried my corded sander and a cordless detail sander on the same wood and there was no issue sanding with the other sanders. Ergonomics are terrible which makes controlling the sander even more of a mess. I have used the Ryobi P661 in the past and would easily recomend that sander over this as it is very comfortable to hold and runs smoothly. As for the sheet sander it was much easier to use but still dissapointing. The sander vibrates so much the battery pops out.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Quality Control is Nonexistent The first set I received had a problem with the sheet sander where it would turn off after a few seconds of use, despite having a fully charged 4 Ah battery. Turn it back on and it shuts off again after a few seconds of sanding. Tried it with multiple batteries and the problem persisted. I returned it and ordered another set. Pulled the sheet sander out and gave it a try. Same problem. The lack of quality control is astounding. Ridgid seems to be going downhill rapidly.

Rated 5 de 5 de par This kit was exactly what I was looking for and... This kit was exactly what I was looking for and it was less expensive than one sander alone. The included accessories are appreciated and the sanders work great. I really feel that since this is a kit, it should come with a bag to keep them and the accessories together easily but besides that, the sanding kit is a great buy.

I bought two 4 AMP batteries to go with it and within 10 minutes of sanding for the first time, the battery already lost one bar of energy, so they are energy hogs! The sanders randomly shut off too, right in the middle of sanding.

I recently purchased this combo set. in the instructions for the orbital sander it says there is an optional psa pad.

how can I get the part number for that replacement pad.

The Micro-Fiber™ hook-and-loop pad accepts standard 8-hole hook-and-loop sanding discs. To attach the optional pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing pad, you must first remove the hook-and-loop pad. Inspect sanding disc before installing. Does this ridgid 2 tool combo set of the orbital & sheet sander come with a bag, or not? I know it's tool only, but I ordered it a couple days ago and I hope it comes with a bag.
