[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this blade to see if I could avoid renting a tile saw for a small bathroom tile job. This blade, mounted on an angle grinder, made the small cuts with ease (I used a simple tile cutter for the longer straight cuts). The blade works great on small internal cuts and, in combination with a tile nipper, will make curved cuts as well. After completing the tile job, I tried using the blade on some other material I had lying around and it handled them all - marble, granite, and stone - without dulling appreciably. The cuts are thin and smooth and the mesh prevents heat build-up. Very satisfied.

Rated 5 de 5 de par For an angle grinder dry blade for tile.... anyone who has ever tried to cut tile with an angle grinder knows it's almost impossible to do it without it chipping or breaking from getting too hot. this blade is not perfect but it is hands down the best blade for an angle grinder on tile. I've remodelled 4 bathrooms with tile floors and standup showers without a tile saw...(broke down half way through the first bathroom.) This one blade has made every cut since then and very well at that. it was a little more time consuming having to spend more time filing the edges but I'm am definitely impressed by this. awesome job from rigid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mesh blade is a good addition to tile cutting tool box. AsYou can see, it cuts the tile well. Some porcelain tiles really tend to chip or even break during cutting. High vibration is the enemy when cutting these products. This blade cut with minimal chips. In my experience the blades seem to cut better the longer you use them and run them in. Almost like a break-in Period. I have a 4 inch safer brand blade that does seem to cut smoother as you can see in the pictures. Looking forward to trying this blade out on a larger job that is coming up soon. Made a cut in granite. Stop cut short to show how close you can cut with minimal vibration. Definitely a good blade.

Rated 4 de 5 de par cuts ceramic easy but cuts small chips on edge One of the arbor adapters is inserted into the blade at the factory. I was worried about bending the blade while punching the arbor adapter out of the blade so that I could install the blade on my grinder which has a 7/8" arbor. I had a punch sized appropriately for the task. Fortunately, I removed the arbor adapter without bending the blade. I found it easy to cut ceramic tile with this blade. However, I was disappointed with the small chips on the top edges where I cut the tile. There was no noticeable difference in the amount of chips when cutting the tile top side up or bottom side up.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Maybe overpriced for how long it lasts. I picked up this blade for ~$38. I'm doing the tiling for a single bathroom project, so I would not have thought that it would go dull given the little amount of cutting I had to do. I don't do a lot of tiling to know what the life expectancy should be. But I'm only cutting straight lines (nothing fancy), and I'm not even done tiling around the tub yet, but already it is not cutting as well as it did when new. I keep it wet when cutting (in fact, my saw gets water everywhere), but the last few tiles have had what appear to be burn marks on them. Also, the last 1-2 mm of the cut tend to break the corners off now, which it wasn't doing before. A few days after I bought this one, I saw an identical one at Harbor Freight for $9.89.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works a treat on everything I have used it for. So far, I have scored a concrete slab, cut porcelain tile, and shaped bricks for a flower bed. Generally, I don't get this much use from one blade, but, this one still has life left in it. I recommend it highly. I may be wrong because I have not actually done test on it. But, it does not seem to heat up as quickly as some blades I have used in the past. Now, if someone would invent a blade that did all of this and produced much less dust what a world it would be.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Did not last long This blade cut fast like a turbo and smooth like a continuous. However it did not last. The top of the blade wore down to metal in about 100 easy cuts on mostly soft material. The outside rim looked new but I need to cut not grind. This blade is a joke

Posée par: sergio
I would only use this blade for cutting porcelain or ceramic tile. It can cut metals, but it gums up the blade and then doesn't cut the tile as nice. Not sure if it would cut Stainless steel. I would buy a stainless steel specific blade.
