Rated 5 de 5 de par Worked great for me. We had a portion of our 2000sf deck that was finished in porcelain tiles. I have a 10" Ridgid tile saw that still had the original blade in it that has seen plenty of use. Cutting into the .80 in thick tiles was going slow and after 3 cuts, I decided that maybe the blade needed replacing. I purchased this one at HD along with some other items using a 10% off coupon which helped out. What a difference. I know I'm comparing a new blade with a used blade but this thing just sounds better on startup. I finshed about 25@ 2' long cuts smoothly and the floor is done. I still need to complete the fireplace stoop and mantel when the bullnose tiles arrive but I'm ready.

This is meant to keep the blade from wobbling. Only problem you can lift the tile up if your trying to make a square 90” cut. If you lift the tile up the tile hits the ring. Only good for rip cuts.

Rated 5 de 5 de par [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 10” diamond tile blade by Ridgid performs exceptionally well when cutting porcelain and ceramic tile. The reinforced hub design practically eliminates blade wobble and allows for a fine cutting saw kerf. “Free-hand” tile cutting and trimming is very precise because of the strong reinforced hub. The blade is designed with a 5/8” mounting hole to fit all standard wet tile saws. Although I have not yet cut any marble or granite with this blade I am confident it will perform very well.

Does cuts with minimal chipping, most of the time you can even forgo dressing the cut it's so clean. Have been a bit of a diamond blade snob and only buying top name brands in the industry that cost more then this one. This blade now falls into the premium tile blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an avid DIY and do a lot of tile work using a variety of tile materials. I need a tile saw blade that cuts straight, doesn’t wobble and produces clean, chip-free cuts. I decided to try this blade because it was advertised as being very rigid, Upon trying it out, I can see why – it has a reinforced hub that measures about 6” in diameter at the center of the blade. This reinforcement only adds about ¼ inch to the total blade width, but it easily fit over my tile saw spindle to replace the original blade. I put it through Its paces, cutting a 12” length of 1” thick granite stone, as well as a standard ceramic tile. In both cases it operated very smoothly, rapidly making precision straight cuts through the materials (see pictures). The edges of both finished cuts were smooth and chip-free. The blade feels more heavy-duty than typical stock blades and so I expect it will wear well over time and with greater use. It didn’t flinch during my test run and I’m glad I got it. I would recommend it to a friend.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good blade. This has been one of the best 10" wet saw blades I have used for the money. It has it's drawbacks, one being the reinforced hub can get in the when free hand cut are made or cutting long tile. READ THIS-I have found that most chipping occurs when the table on the wet saw is out of alignment or a small piece of tile that is leftover from a cut and is under the piece being cut...this causes the piece being cut to balance on that tiny chip causing it to break before the cut is completed. You need to wipe the table off after each cut to get rid of the chips and slow down your cut at the end. This blade has lasted typically through 4 to 5 porcelain tile projects before the blade loses it's rigidity around the hub reinforcement and wanders some causing more friction and chipping. It has been the most chip free blade i have used until it wears out. 10" blades are prone to warping slightly when the table is not aligned with the saw. You can't get chip free cuts consistently if you're equipment is not up for the task. When this blade is new you can get paper thin cuts in porcelain.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Best blade I have used. This has been the best diamond blade I've used yet. It's very stable when cutting long pieces of porcelain and is almost completely chipless. The chips that do occur are very small and hard see unless you are looking close. I have ripped 48 inch porcelain and it did a great job tracking a straight line. I have made several thousand cuts on it now and it is still going strong. If there is a better blade out there somewhere I haven't found it yet.
