Rated 4 de 5 de par I have used this product before. This time, on... I have used this product before. This time, on several spots, it didn't adhere as well as I had wished.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Bled through my carpet I wish I had read the other reviews before using this product. The container mentions nothing of letting the adhesive set up prior to rolling the carpet into the adhesive. So I am an amateur and I ruined my carpet as the adhesive bled through the fibres. Roberts needs to add this detail to the packaging so others do not ruin their carpet. I am going to use a solvent based adhesive for rest of my outdoor carpet installations. Does this product work? I’ll never know because I will not use it again. The professionals do not use this product outdoors. They do not have 30 minutes to waste for this product to set up.

It's a very easy to use product however I wish I knew that if you apply too much, the product can leave yellow stains on the carpet. For an amateur who has never installed a carpet, I think I did a pretty good job and this product helped me to achieve the results. Thanks!

I was going to buy roberts 6700 carpet glue for my marine rubber back boat carpet today but I wasn't sure if I could use it when my son put new pressure treated wood down on the floor or can we use it if we use coarse sand paper on the floor first.

Posée par: GRANDPA
Roberts 6700 is not recommended or warranted over pressure treated plywood. Sanding the plywood will not ensure the bond of an adhesive to pressure treated plywood.

Can I use 3300 to glue marine vinyl in my boat?

Posée par: Marquis
Great Question - Neither Roberts 3300 nor 6700 can be used to adhere Vinyl sheet goods in a boat / Marine environment. 3300 is specific to indoor applications and 6700 is specific to Indoor /Outdoor carpet and Turf. Contact the Vinyl sheet manufacturer for specific marine grade vinyl adhesive recommendations for your specific project needs.

Hi, We would like to glue rubber tiles on concrete blocks outside And we we're wondering if this product was good for this project? If not, would there be another product that would be good for that? Thank you

Posée par: KARLO
Thank you for your inquiry.Roberts 6700 is not recommended for rubber tile however it works very well with indoor/outdoor carpet installations. Without knowing the full scope of your installation, Roberts does not have an adhesive recommendation. Always confirm with the flooring manufacturer any adhesive recommendation for an outdoor application/installation. Thank you for considering Roberts for your project needs.

Although is just says indoor/outdoor carpet adhesive, it does also mention marine, I assume carpet, but would it work on felt backed marine vinyl to plywood decking?

Posée par: Craig
Thank you for your inquiry. No, Robert 6700 specifically recommends: Do not use this adhesive for vinyl or vinyl-backed products. Roberts 6700 is a solvent-free adhesive designed for the exterior or interior installation of indoor/outdoor carpet with the following backing: Polypropylene (ActionBac®), rubber-backed (foam, marine, waffle), urethane and tufted, woven or non- woven/needle-bond. To the following substrates: Concrete, APA rated marine grade plywood. also fiberglass and aluminum when surface is clean and roughened to promote bonding. Thank you for considering Roberts as your source for installation products and information.

How do I remove this stuff from my cement base? Used it twice to glue down carpet and is now like lumps of iron attached to my cement. Won't chip or scrape off....tried multi solvents. I have it adjacent to a pool so can't use a grinder or sandblast.

Posée par: Patricia6
Using any type of adhesive remover or solvent in conjunction with a scraper should work to remove excess adhesive residue on the surface of the cement. Any adhesive that has soaked in below the surface most likely won't come off, but any new adhesive / floor covering combination applied on top shouldn't be affected after removing the surface residue.
