Rated 4 de 5 de Ontario1 par A Very Handy Tool Kit For Flooring Installation We purchased this kit to support installation of our Life Proof LVP Flooring from Home Depot. It was a great investment and provided very useful tools for the job. The hammer (softer side red, harder side yellow) was great for use to tap both the flooring and the tapping block / pull bar. The pull bar (metal with pads to protect flooring) was important for reaching into areas near the walls, etc where a tapping block is not accessible. The spacers are a great design - even with our raised baseboards, these provided a nice 1/4" spacing along the perimeter without moving out of place. The only part of the tool kit that was of lesser quality was the plastic tapping block. It worked wonderfully for tapping together the first few planks, but after that we could not keep the tapping block engaged on the flooring edges. We determined that the plastic block was actually warped, such that the block would only engage at the leading and far edge of the block. After a few planks worth of tapping, the sharp-cut edges of the block became damaged as a result, and for the rest of the job we had to resort to using a scrap piece of flooring to use as a tapping block. We contacted Roberts and explained that the varying online reviews related to their tapping block (some good some bad) are likely due to the fact that some people receive blocks that are warped and others receive blocks that are straight. We asked that they look at this issue with their production team, as other than that the kit is great. We were glad we purchased it and we would recommend it to others.

Rated 5 de 5 de Steve Ryan par Great installation kit for vinyl plank flooring This was the perfect kit for my vinyl plank flooring installation (500 sq ft, 3 rooms on main floor). I used all the tools provided in the kit and they made the task much easier than trying to use/adapt my existing tools for the job. Minor point: The tapping block is plastic so it took a bit of a beating. However, it's still perfectly fine to use for future flooring jobs.

Rated 3 de 5 de Michael par Install kit Spacers were great and hammer was great. Plastic block was challenging. Not enough of an edge. Kept slipping off. And cracked and broke 3/4 of the way through the installation. A piece of 2x4 worked 100% better.

Rated 5 de 5 de Neil par Just Buy It I installed flooring without these tools previously and I can say it was much easier and more enjoyable having the right tools for the job. Absolutely no regrets with this purchase at all. The hammer did feel a bit "cheap" as it would have been nicer to have a bit more weight and softer rubber end, but it still did the job nicely.

The spacers are fine but will get pushed over so keep an eye for them moving. The hammer was fine. The pull bar is OK and works as it should.
