It is not an industrial kind; however, it still gets the job done. The attachment will work with other brands also; I couple it with my Toro gas trimmer. It takes very little time to attach the tool to the trimmer. I like the fact that the air intake is elevated because it prevents leaves from getting blocking it. In the previous leaf blower attachment I used, the intake had a tendency to get clogged by leaves. The speed is pretty good in my opinion. The material feels sturdy and durable.

I'll admit, I was skeptical because usually tools do one thing really well, but not others. The weed-trimmer worked great as expected, but the blower left me very impressed with it's power. I have a tree-lined alleyway behind my house and it can get messy with leaves and pine cones. This blower attachment really did the job although I personally found it to be a little awkward to handle/get use to and it was pretty heavy. Wish it had a shoulder strap to help take some of the weight off the arms, but aside from that if you're looking to save space (I am) and need something powerful enough to do the job, I would urge you to give this blower serious consideration.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several Ryobi tools but this one attachment is somewhat awkward to use. The first unit I tried it on was a 40-volt trimmer that split but didn't work with this blower. Make sue your top part says expand-it and has a square opening about 1/8 inch. I got another unit that the blower fit. The blower works okay but is awkward as it's somewhat long for a blower. It didn't seem to have the power of Ryobi's regular blower. For the price I would get their regular blower (the prices are close).

Rated 5 de 5 de par Incredibly Powerful! If you are looking for a blower and already have the expand it system, make sure you get this blower. It is absolutely a beast and if you pair it with a 40v Power Head you won't ever want for anything more. I have used this on both my 18v and 40v Power Head and think it is great. Obviously the 18v is less powerful but stick this on the 40v and you'll blow yourself away. I only use the low mode when I use my 40v because of how much power it puts out. They run through batteries so just make sure you have a couple on hand or you are running larger ones. If you are considering buying the 18v version go ahead and upgrade to the 40v - it is incredible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a Kobalt 80v Cordless Mower and Attachment-Capable Trimmer and was looking to pick up a blower that would use the same batteries. Unfortunately, they no longer sell the tool-only version and I don't need yet another battery and charger. I saw this EXPAND-IT blower attachment at Home Depot and thought I would give it a try. Wow! I am impressed. It fit my Kobalt cordless trimmer perfectly, is relatively lightweight, and has plenty of leaf-blowing power! This is a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone who has an attachment-capable trimmer. Nice work, Ryobi!

If you are looking as a blower the CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) is the only spec you need to look at. This is what determines how good it is at moving debris. This one sits at 475 CFM and performs well. Don't waste your time with anything less than 450 CFM, you'll only be disappointed and you'll just waste valuable time and energy going over the same spots over and over again. If you want something that will move almost anything you point it at 550 CFM is the sweet spot, but at 475 CFM this meets 95% of your needs for a amazing price.

The upgrade is noticeable in every aspect. The blower power not only clears the debris from cutting and trimming the lawn, but it also gets deep into the cracks to remove loose dirt, leaving a nice crisp edge all around. The blower is very lightweight but the battery end can throw off the balance. My wife uses a shoulder strap that was sold separately when she uses the blower/trimmer for longer periods of time. The best part is that it uses the same 40v battery as my Ryobi mower and they interchange seamlessly.

I have a Husqvarna 128LD 28cc 2 stroke gas (combination) string line trimmer, which I found out after the fact that by design is marketed to retailers and limited to aftermarket attachments, not Husqvarna attachments. After exhaustive online research and calls into Husqvarna on my options as the 128LDX which has a larger diameter shaft is sold out, I stumbled onto the Ryobi expand-it product line. I purchased the axial blower, edger and 17.5" articulating hedge trimmer attachments. I have used the blower and edger and am 100% satisfied. The trimmer will be used this weekend.All have a three year warranty too.

Yes, it absolutely DOES have a good amount of power. My electric blower had 215mph of force at the tip and this one, while only having 140mph of speed doesn't really seem to make a great deal of difference. The weight of the blower does make the power-head a little awkward to handle, which is why the shoulder strap and larger handle that comes with the brush-cutter attachment a "must have." With the shoulder strap, you can just swing it back and forth while it does the work. Get it, Josh-you won't be disappointed.

Has anyone used this with a 4-cycle power head to work overhead to blow off ceilings? I live in coastal Carolina and porch ceilings seems to be a magnet for insects and spiders. I am looking for an alternative to a ladder and broom for the weekly removal of these guests.
