Rated 5 de 5 de par I'm Impressed I'll be honest and say that I've never given much thought to a water hose. In the past I would always grab the cheapest one I could find. This Scotts MaxFlex Garden Hose has changed my mind. The hose that this one replaced was one of those cheap hoses. I spent more time untangling it than I did watering my yard. This hose is thick but not to the point that it is hard to manage but just enough to keep it from getting all knotted up. The connectors appear to be solid brass. There is no leakage from the faucet like every other hose I have used in the past. This is without a doubt a great product.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Very strong hose [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right off of the bat you can feel that the walls of this hose are very strong. Additionally you will notice some differences between this hose and other hoses. You'll see that the connection piece for the spout is made of brass and it makes it a lot easier to make a connection. Additionally you will see a rubber piece close to the brass connection piece that makes it hard to bend at the most important area. I highly recommend this garden hose, its strong walls do make it a bit easier to bend and put back together into a neat pile.

Liner separated from main body of hose and blocks flow of water. (See photos.) Scotts advertises limited lifetime warranty. Customer is required to cut off both ends of the hose and mail to Scotts with copy of purchase receipt and bar code. Then wait for Scotts to process claim and send a replacement. The apparent objective is to make warranty claims inconvenient. There is a more efficient way to process lifetime warranty claims. The Swedish tool company Fiskars honors email submissions of photos of failed products. That's it. No need to submit receipts or bar code images. Come on, Scotts, show a real commitment to customer support!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Scotts MaxFlex Is The Best Garden Hose Ever Made [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts MaxFlex is the best garden hose in the entire world, hands down. I love, love, love it because it truly is maximum flexibility with lay-flat technology. When the garden hose miraculously unkinks itself while dragging it all over the yard, then you know it is truly special. When the couplings are huge and covered with Hose Armor, then you know it is truly special. When the garden hose is drinking water safe, because it meets the requirements under the federal safe drinking water act, then you know it is truly special. All these attributes make Scotts MaxFlex truly the best garden hose ever made. It's an awesome hose in every way.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Extra length is useful [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my clogged 10 yr old, 50 foot hose, with something long enough to reach my car in my townhome on-street parking. This 100 foot hose makes maneuvering much easier. This hose feels like it is as good as, or maybe even better, quality as my old hose. It's lightweight for the length, and it's flexible but doesn't kink too easily. Allowing it to warm up in the sun helps with kinks. Connects fine with my spout. I probably could have gotten by with a 75 foot but am soon to be moving to a home with a large back yard. Planning ahead, but for now, my car is clean, and my roses and mums are sated!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Scotts, MaxFLEX 5/8 in. x 100 ft. Heavy Garden Hose. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received this Scotts MaxFLEX 5/8 in. x 100 ft. Heavy Garden Hose by just looking at it I knew it made well and will performs well. I installed it and used it all over my yard and backyard with no problems its tough and made to work almost in any conditions. My kids and their friends play in the yards on the lawn with the hose/water and it is in used all the time even my dogs had it in his mouth and running with it after my kids or away from my kids!!!! Still in a very good conditions, after almost all summer use and ABUSED!!!! I do recommend this highly to family & friends.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Do Anything Hose This is a neat hose. It's drinking water safe, lead free, 500+ PSI rated, (my hoses in the past have struggled with our water pressure) and it's light and easy to move around. The fittings on both ends are of high quality. It's nice to unroll a hose for the first time and not have to fight with it to keep it straight and flat, but somehow this one does it. It being lead free, drinking water safe and with the Agion bacterial/mold inhibitor, it'll be better to have around the kids, when they decide to cool off.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Heavy Duty [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hose has a very heavy feel but will still bend and flex. It will still bend without kinking even with no pressure in it. The colors don't seem to have changed or faded in the Arizona sun. Also I can't see any bulging of the hose under full pressure , in the heat and with a nozzle on. There is some kind of oxidation on the fittings which I don't know if it's the hose or my water.

Why does this 5/8" hose come up when I have sorted for 3/4" hoses only?

Posée par: Anonyme
This happens occasionally on just about all websites. It's not a simple matter to design a webpage so that it works perfectly every time. With all due respect, You need to contact Home Depot's IT department and let them know if it really bothers you that much.

This will fit on standard 3/4" hose fittings. 5/8" is the hose tube diameter.
