[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My application for this 1" to 3/4" reducing ball valve was connecting a water tank with a 1" drain to a 12 VDC water pump with a 1/2" input. (More post-valve reduction was also needed.) The ability to use CPVC, Copper, or PEX to connect this valve was a blessing in disguise as either type of 1" fittings are especially hard to find in store, but easily found at Home Depot Online! I needed the valve to be easy and quick to turn OFF, and the quarter-turn ball valve function does that much easier than other types of valves. A bonus function of the Push-To-Connect valves is that they can be reoriented after installation without leaking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This valve combines the functions of a valve and a reducer in one package. It is easy to install on a variety of pipes and tubing. Just push it in, and you get a good seal. No special tools needed. You can even remove and reuse it with the special removal tool. In my case, I needed to connect a new whole-house water filter. I have 1" PEX from the water meter to the utility room. But the new system uses 3/4" pipe. It needed a bit of repiping to get all the water, except the outside faucets, to go through the filter. This valve made it a lot easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the SharkBite 1 in. X 3/4 in. Push-To-Connect reducing Ball Valve in the mail for review. I really like that this product saves so much time and money. I like that you have no messy primer, glue or solder joints. I like that you just cut your pipe to length, check for burr and push the pipe into the valve until it seats and your done. I like the versatility, this product can be used with several different types of pipe, like CPVC, PEX and PE-RT and of course Copper pipe. I like that these valves can be removed just as quickly and reinstalled somewhere else. This product has meet my expectations for a push-to-connect valve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality and versatile valve. Not only transitions to pipe sizes, but ALSO PIPE TYPE. This push - to - connect valve allows to transition from copper to PVC or CPVC whatever the case may be. It make the connection without soldering, glues etc. Can also be easily removed if required. This 1" to 3/4" transition can be used to transition/connect a "main" system (typically 1" piping) to a secondary system such as a water treating system or am irrigation system as another example. It costs a bit more then connecting a valve with various fittings but for the ease of installation and transition options, it is well worth the extra cost...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shark Bite 22993LF Push to connect Ball Valve – This item number is for PEX, CPVC, PE-RT or Copper and the size is 1” x ¾”…I have installed many of these Shark Bite push to connect ball valves, the installation process is quite simple, cut the tubing being used square, chamfer the end of the tubing using the tubing chamfering tool, mark the insertion depth on the tubing, push the tubing into the ball vale until the insertion depth is achieved…The removal of the ball valve is just as easy, simply push the tan collar towards the ball vale and pull out the tubing…This ball vale performed as indicated, intended and expected without any problems...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I have used one of these valves. From what I've seen it is high quality plastic, led free brass and steel handle which are very hefty. It has a very ingenious way of sealing and locking the tub to the valve which you can see in the photos. It is very easy to install, Just lineup the tub to the valve and push hard until it all the way in. The only way to remove the valve is to get there tool. It is worth the money. I hope this helps with your decision. Good luck with all your projects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good strong quality push to connect reducing ball value. I had it under my house that was crawl space to cut copper pipes to push in the ends of cutting pipes for my whole water filter. Easy & no complications to push between 2 ends cutting copper pipes. Looked good after more than one week. No leaking. It is very reliable push to connect reducing ball valve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sharkbite products make plumbing so much simpler! This 1" x 3/4" push-to-connect reducing ball valve helped solve 2 problems with one product: going from our 1" water line to a 3/4" line going into our bathroom, AND putting an easy to turn ball valve where we need it. Now we don't have to turn off the entire house water in order to work only on our bathroom. Perfect product, the push-to-connect means no soldering or gluing, the level handle is easy to turn, no wrench needed.

Posée par: Glenn
Not sure it doesn't say country of origin on the valve or the packaging.
