The color may be slightly off from your cement job, so I took a little fresh cement mix and blew it onto the sikaflex and the powder stuck perfectly and matched my cement job. Sikaflex is flexible and NOT water clean up so keep that in mind. It was perfect for my job.

This product has either changed or isn't the same stuff as three years ago. First off paint will not stick to it even under idea cure conditions and cleaned off prior to. This product isn't paintable as the manufacture claims least not in my experience. I have a huge mess on my hands with people getting paint all over them from this caulking. I will have to go to great expense to resolve this issue. By the way I have been in the pool business or repair and service for over 40 years. This is one time when you can’t it appears to trust the manufacture with their claims they make on their product. A Sika Rep said; August 15, 2016 Hello and thank you for your question. It is printable after a 7 day cure. Rubber, oil, and water based paints have the most success with adhesion. It is a concrete gray shade. But in this answer they now claim: March 3, 2015 Thank you for your interest in our Sikaflex Concrete Fix. Yes, paint will adhere to the cured product. We recommend acrylic or latex paint and a minimum of 7 days drying time before applying the paint. Good luck with your project. Regards, Sika Retail Team Another answer given towards can it be painted but notice now the cure time has changed:: May 1, 2017 Hello and thank you for your question. Yes it can be painted, it can be painted after a full cure (3 to 5 days). One thing to note is that the sealant will flex if there is movement in the slab. Epoxies are rigid so they will crack. Once again a different answer: October 7, 2016 Hello and thank you for your question. This is a polyurethane based sealant which will give you great flexibility compared to water or acrylic based sealants. It is printable after a full cure, 5 to 7 days depending on humidity levels. The higher the humidity, the faster the cure. Water, Oil, and rubber based paints work the best. Now for the question I saw that really burns me is as follows; Will synthetic rubber pool paint adhere to this product? Asked by Cf August 25, 2016 Sika Retail Rep August 26, 2016 Hello and thank you for your question. Yes it can be painted after a 7 day cure. Oil, water and rubber based paints are preferred. Testing is always an option as well. Painting a some area can be done to see compatibility. Was this helpful?helpful0unhelpful0 I’d like to know what Sika and Home Depot want to do about this issue? As for others wishing to buy if painting is an issue then I’d suggest you look at another product to use. It appears the manufacture will say just about anything to make you want to buy their product but answer with conflicting information when questioned about the product at hand.

Like trying to smooth bubble gum; it just sticks to whatever and kind of rolls with the implement. I'm fairly sure it will fix the crack due to its stickiness/adhesive properties. Will require top-coating with some paint to match surrounding wall. Workability reduced its rating from a 5 to a 4.

Can this product be used to seal the gap between asphalt driveway and poured concrete foundation? To prevent water getting into the gap, or weed growing between the gap. The gap is about 1/2 inch to 1 inch wide. A backer rod will be used.

    Posée par: Ian Young
It will work if it is an old asphalt. New asphalt still has a lot of bituminous product in it and it will react negatively with the concrete fix.

Can this be used to fix cracks in foundation parging?

    Posée par: Anonyme
Hi It can be used to fix various cracks in concrete. It is however not the best product to use if you have a crack that is allowing water into the basement. In that case I would recommend you use Sika Crack Fix Kit.
