Rated 5 de 5 de par Love it! We love this cabinet. It was much better quality than expected for the price and the color is very nice. We had almost no trouble putting this piece together. Nothing warped, missing, or broken. The only issue we had was with the backing. The boards were just slightly too narrow, but it was easy enough to resolve. We left a small gap between the two backing boards behind the center column to hide the gap. This made the holes for the screws too big, so we put the screws in the small gap slightly above the holes so they could catch the boards and hold them in place. Overall it came together very easily and nicely. Looks great!

Rated 2 de 5 de par meh I waited a year for this item to be restocked at my local store and now I'm kicking myself. I really liked the look and it matched my decor perfectly but is of average (at best) quality for the price. I'm lucky that I am picky and had planned to use a quality adhesive along with the hardware. The hardware is JUNK, I was careful and still broke two camlocks while tightening. The doors are both slightly warped and the magnetic clasps are not strong enough to hold the doors....one keeps swinging open and I will have to install something else to keep it shut. Not worth $200 in my opinion.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Poorly built, required customization My wife and I received this as a gift. When I went to the store waiting on delivery, I found it was poorly put together. Upon opening the box, and attempting step #1 I found all the holes for the camlocks missing. Luckily I've done cabinet making in the past and was able to add these holes. The back panel is not quite long enough to be installed as per directions, and the center support had to be installed backwards as to the directions, but of course you dont find this out until you go to install the shelves. But you cant just turn the board around at this point, you've already drilled holes in it attaching the back panel, so I decided to just drill new holes for the shelf supports. when I marked where I wanted the new holes to go, I found that the holes were originally there in the first place, and had been covered in putty and moved. Overall, if you dont know how to edit poorly designed/built furniture, I wouldnt suggest buying this product

Rated 4 de 5 de par Excellent Value I just bought and assembled this unit and as far as I am concerned it is great value for the price. Solid wood and no particle board or pressed board backer. The only reason I give it 4 out of 5 is that the instructions are not nearly detailed enough. I had a huge problem with the doors and the shelves until I realized that I had the top on backwards. On reflection the floor model in the store was put together incorrectly with the shelves against the doors rather than the back of the cabinet. It looks great in our TV room!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Solid and beautiful I was amazed first at how well packaged this came. This is a solid construction product, no particle board or cardboard back. All Wood. It went together easily and the instructions are simple to follow. Package says "Takes two people to assemble" I did it alone. I was so impressed at the quality of the bookcase that I ordered another one. Fantastic item at a great price. When you assemble it, follow the directions to the tee. I'm not new to assembly required, but this truly was easy, all you need is a screwdriver. Put mine together in about 30 minutes. Only bad thing I have to say is, it took me 30 minutes to remove a warning sticker on the inside of the case. I want to display items in it with back lighting, the sticker is easily removed with several applications of GooGone. :D Love this bookcase.

Are the shelves the full width of the unit? Or are they half the width?
