Rated 4 de 5 de par Sheets are Great, but hard to find supports High quality sheets, much better than the cheaper ones they sell, wish they sold the small supports also. They couldn't order them, so had to find them somewhere else.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great product About the product (5/5): The product is great! It interlinks well, was easy to cut multiple sheets at a time with a powered multi-tool. I used it to roof my Muskoka room. It gets so much more light now and let's a lot more light into the house. They are durable enough for my use. They heat up the space a bit, but not too much having screens all around to let the window blow threw. About HD/website (3/5): I just wish I didn't have to visit 2 different Home Depots in 2 completely different townships 400km away from eachother to pick up enough stock to do 1 project. They wouldn't even ship between eachother and I couldn't order them online for delivery, not even to my local HD. And my local HD had no stock at all. That much was super inconvenient especially due to covid restrictions.

Rated 5 de 5 de par keeps the heat in, like an insulated window! i have really old poor quality windows. These panels are doing surprisingly well at keeping the heat in! i cut one of these (with heavy scissors only) and drilled it into the window frame, its meant for greenhouses after all! i am currently sitting here in a tshirt and barefeet, where i needed a sweater before.

I want to use the sun-tuf product as a roof for an enclosed porch off of a manufactured home. Is this product suitable for this application?

Posée par: Mike
Yes it is as long as you have enough slope. Put it on a garden shed, works great.

Where can i see instructions on how to install on a roof, and what else do i need beside the panels to do so,

Posée par: Fred
For instructions, go to the Suntuf website or YouTube has videos on how to install the product. You will also need the 2 foot plastic support strips and some self sealing roofing screws. I also siliconed each screw for added water proofing. If you are putting them up against a wall you will also need some flashing to channel water onto the roof panels.

Where can I find the detailed dimensions of these panels? I need the know the distance between ridges, and the height of the ridges.

Posée par: Veronica
You may find the dimensions in the Vicwest National Catalogue found on the Vicwest website :https://vicwest.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/National-Catalogue-CENTRAL-October-2019-Pages-LR.pdf. Once you open the Central catalogue and download a PDF, it is on Page 1 of the Polycarbonates & Plastics section (or page 105 of the single page format download). The panels are 26" wide, with a coverage of 24". The rib height is 5/8", with rib centre to centre of 3" and the flat crown and lower portion have a flat dimension of 1". Profile drawing is found in the catalogue. This site does not allow cut and paste of pictures.

What products are required to join pieces together. I will need approximately 12 of these and don't want leaks between the joins

Posée par: Glenn
For side lap, the panels measure 26" with a 24" coverage. You overlap one full rib. For low slope or high wind applications use a sealant approved as compatible with polycarbonate by the manufacturer of the sealant. If you are talking about end lap, for longer than 12' application, total overlap of both panels combined should be minimum of 4", 8" maximum. Please visit the Vicwest website for detailed instructions. Link: https://vicwest.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/VW00513-Suntuf-install-brochure11-9-17PR-ENG-FINAL.pdf.

Would this product hold up in winter time for say roof for hot tub gazebo ? I’m kinda worried it would be brittle and prone to crack if I went to clean it off.

Posée par: Matt
Suntuf would be the recommended product – you need Polycarbonate due to high humidty and temps. You need to be careful to follow instructions on pre-drilling and not overtightening fasteners as hot tub will cause panels to expand and contract more dramatically than ambient temperatures.
