Rated 5 de 5 de par GREAT, LOVE IT, AWESOME PRODUCT I have two awesome active kids, and this slide for under 100 bucks, what I paid for is fantasitc. I built them an indoor tree house and with this slide to make it cool way to get down is fantastic. My kids are 40 and 50lbs and in no way does the slide bend. Yes you would need to reenforce it if like I'm sliding down the slide, i'm 180. But for a 40 and a 50 lbs children there is no need. You still can, but I did not do it, and this slide is very strong and good. My kids love it!!! Awesome buy and I would totally recommend. Once again my tree house is indoors, sun do no hit, and I did not reenforce it, and it is working awesomely.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good Slide I disagree with the review below, I bought this slide and it didnt bend and bow a ton...i replaced and old slide with this one, and it was much better than what I had... I like that is all one piece...the last one i had cracked... this one was good enough for what you pay.

Rated 1 de 5 de par flimsy According to the swing set we bought, this was the slide that went with it. Well, we got the swing set put together and attached the slide. It would bow and sway. Just the lightest touch would make it bend. My daughter weighs 35 pounds and I didn't feel safe putting her on the slide. Go to the store and buy the Alpine wave slide for $165.00 You'll be glad you did! Home Depot online was very understanding and returned it for me and even paid return shipping.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Nice slide Nice slide for the smaller swing set we purchased. Just the right height. Only glitch: It doesn't sit flat on the platform before the child slides down. The edge of the slide isn't flush with the platform but sits on top of it. Not a smooth transition. So, we mounted it sandwiched between two boards so it is a smooth transition from the slide deck onto the slide. Seems well made and durable. Minimal issue, easily fixed.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Slide for playground It's a slide - not a lot to go into detail on. Overall, fun for the kids and glad we decided to add it to the playground we just built. Only complaint - the bottom doesn't have anything real solid to keep it in place and on the ground. Over time, it is obvious it could get bent and warped. On neighbor's advice, we added a 2x4 across the back/base to keep it sturdy.

I need a slide for an adult Christmas party ( A Christmas Story theme). Would this work?

I’m 200 lbs and have slid down the one on my kids’ play set, and I felt like it was more than sturdy enough to hold me or someone heavier. I wouldn’t want to jump up and down on it or anything, but I wouldn’t feel like adults would have any problem sliding on it as long as it’s attachd to something sturdy.

I have a 9 foot treehouse platform that i would like to attach a slide to it. Would this work?

Probably not. Our platform is around 5 feet off the ground and it’s a pretty steep slope on the slide. Measure from the platform to the ground, at the angle you want the slide to be, to get the length you’ll need.

Thank you for your interest in Swing-N-Slide and our very popular Cool Wave Slide. Regarding your question, when lying flat the slide is 18" wide and 90" long (and 7" high). When the Cool Wave Slide is installed on a 4' high play deck (maximum recommended height) it is 20" wide and will extend approximately 60" from the base of the play to the exit of the slide. Can you attach this slide to a set ofbunk beds using U brackets?

Mu son has a set of bunk beds and I would like to attach a slide to them and I read taht you can do that using a set of U bracket? His bunkbeds are 47.5 inches in height (where the slide would attach.) Any information would be helpful.

I do not know what U bracket would work for this application, but we only safety test our slides for the use they are designed for, I couldn't recommend a use outside of the engineered design.
