Rated 5 de 5 de par Great repair tape for temporary car shelters It's the best tape I found to repair car tempos. And also for taping on the end of bamboo sticks to make flags that indicate the location of tiny trees in a new plantation. The tape lasts years.

Hello, may I use this Tuck tape on DMX Air Floor, to seal the seams?

    Posée par: MINH
The DMX Floor company should be contacted to see if they approve of other tapes to be used instead of the one they sell and recommend to complete their warranty.

Can I use this tape to replace the adhesive film on some second hand Allure vinyl plank flooring?

    Posée par: Skywalker
Although our tape has been used for many purposes successfully, this is not one that I have heard of yet. Vinyl products have a lot of variation in their formulas and over time can have reactions with products applied to them. We always suggest to test before using. For more information you can contact us at webform@cantech.com or visit our webiste at www.cantech.com.

Is red tuck tape very flammable? Can i use it inside dryer vent to hold tubing together?

    Posée par: henry74
Hi Henry74, although Tuck Tape is not considered flammable we do not recommend it for this purpose. There are foil duct tapes available that are designed for this, look for the UL723 designation which shows it is acceptable for this use. We also have a product called FlexPro 362-21 that is ULc approved. You can find these types of products in the duct work area of most stores.

Can I use this tape to tape the seams of the shed roof? If not, is there another self-adhesive waterproof tape to prevent water for leaking into the shed?

    Posée par: Costa
Thanks for the question. Without knowing what the material is that you are sealing it is difficult to give a complete answer. It is however likely that the sheathing tape would seal seams for a temporary fix on most materials. There is good adhesion with the tape and UV protection that would last a few seasons. Can this tape be used to stick down cardboard on hardwood floors for moving purposes?

    Posée par: carleak
No, do not use this product to stick directly to floors. This product is designed for permanent application and has a very high initial adhesion. It usually leaves a residue when removed. It is suitable for sealing boxes or joining floor protection sheets together but you would not want it directly on a flooring surface.

A contractor installed a new CT4 Vent for my bathroom exhaust fan. They used this tape on the Flexible Insulated Duct to in the attic to secure it to both ends (CT4 vent and the fan). Just wondering if this can be used for this?

    Posée par: Ian Y
Yes it should be fine, the product is mold/moisture resistant and seals against air leakage. We also have a product called Tuck FlexPro which is specifically for sealing duct work that would work. The FlexPro is available in silver or black.
