VIGO présente la porte de douche à charnière sans cadre Soho, où le luxe des pièces rencontre la durabilité du verre trempé. Rated 5 de 5 de par Beautiful Frameless Glass Shower Door [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was surprised how easy it was to have this shower door shipped and received - no issues whatsoever, and the shower door arrived in perfect condition. I'm just getting started with my full master bath renovation now and will have professional help installing the shower door. But after opening the packaging and examining the door and hardware - this will be the perfect complement to a modern transitional bathroom look and feel. The door itself is substantive and weighty - with a full shower surround in the 3/8" glass, I know this is going to be a major shower upgrade.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Looks great and works very well! We installed this 26" shower door for our tiny bath remodel. I picked it because it was frame-less and the hardware was minimal. It really looks great! The handle is a bit tricky to tighten. We tried different rubber spacers but settled on facing them in opposite direction after a while. The plastic edging works well and the magnetic strips are firm, easy to open and quiet, yet do not let water through. The installation wasn't too bad but it definitely takes two people and one must be strong enough to hold the door up for measuring and marking the fasteners' placement. It took us novices 3-4hrs to do the entire install from unboxing to finish.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Stylish Greate glass cheap hardware. The screws to mount the hinges to the wall are not long enough. I replaced mibe with 3in screws you could feel right away the change. It must be mounted on studs glass is too heavy. The door glass handle and hinges are great looking and have a luxurious feel to it. However on the bad side the door strike and plastic seals make this door look so cheap. To begin the door strike is stainless steel whule the rest of the hardware is black so it looks tacky. The seal system is a great feature but its cheap plastic looking i think it can be re designed to a mtch hardware. Other than that is a good door. I would not recommend if you care much about aesthetics.

Because of a custom installation I needed another door seal so I called customer service and they went above and beyond in taking care of me and shipped the part the same day....which is almost unheard of these days.. I highly recommend Vigo because of the products and support team.

Don't like the plastic edges that did not show up in the pictures while viewing the product on line, we actually trimmed some of them off so the door swings better. It was difficult to install as the door is pretty heavy so definitely need 2 people for installation. Also had a lot of trouble getting the handle installed and fitting properly. It took several attempts to line it up just right and don't like that it goes through the glass door. It is difficult to use a squeegee on the glass since part of the handle is on the inside, would have preferred a mounted handle on the outside of the glass only.

Rated 5 de 5 de par best seal yet I am a contractor for over 40 years. I have installed hundreds of shower doors. Having never installed a door from VIGO before I of coarse read the manual. a couple of things struct me to be a bit odd. mainly that the rubber seal goes on the door before the hinges. The other was, there where no stainless wood screws for the hinges or the striker jam. rare does one find 3 inch stainless screws in the kit. That being said, why hasn't any other door manufacturer designed a door with the seal being installed before the hinge. This door went in quickly, and I am very impressed with the seal, the ease of the hinge installation. the door works as good as other doors that costs up to 5 times more.... I highly recommend

The box confirms that it is the 24 " door I ordered, but the glass is 22 1/4" wide and even with the hinges adjusted all the way out, total width is 23". Thank goodness it came in early before the tile people left because they had to adjust my opening to fit the door. I told them I ordered a 24 " door, so they built the opening for it to have 1/2 " to spare. I don't know who is measuring or what unit of measurement they are using, but it wasn't close and caused me extra problems and money for the adjustment.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Very nice door, gave me the look my bathroom demanded. I purchased this door and installed it myself, I recommend two or more people. My wife and I wanted turn key where someone would come measure and install a door, the prices were just way above our budget, on that note, this door was exactly what we were looking for at the price we needed, especially during a renovation. By purchasing this door, and installing it our self, we were able to save a few thousand.

The matted (privacy) area of the door would be 38" in height and the width of the door itself. Them door is clear 18" up from the door bottom and 14 3/4" from the top.

the glass door is sitting on the floor with no lip to hold water in this pic so does this door keep water from leaking

Do you have to use a base tray when building a shower when using this door or does it have a seal that will allow same level floor to shower

The door comes with a door bottom seal strip which should prevent the water from leaking out under the door panel.

does this door have mounting strips on each side of the door?

I am replacing an existing door that has a Z mount type fixed hinge and a full length seal hinge on the opening side. Both of these hinges are screeed into the wall frame which is ceramic tile. I amhoping the vertical hinge amd sealing strips will cover the existing mounting holes in the tile?

Its hard to say for sure but I can tell you that when the door is closed the rubber strip on the hinges side covers the wall therefore you won't likely see these old wholes so long that they are aligned with the door.
