Rated 5 de 5 de dt par [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a small side table to use as a laptop stand and I think this is going to fit the bill perfectly. It comes well packaged to prevent transportation damage. All the parts are very well marked. They even include an extra bag of spare parts. The assembly is fairly straightforward and it took me almost 2 hours to put this together. There was an issue with the drawer being crooked after the initial assembly. Nothing in the instructions gives you an idea of how to position the rails to get an even gap around the drawer. I loosened one of the rails and moved it then retightened it. That allowed the drawer to sit in the opening evenly.

Very versitle accent table can also be used in living room or home office. This is my second furniture piece from Welwick Designs and I like how their furniture is attractive and affordable, if you don't mind putting it together. The DIY instruction booklet is large and easy to read for assembly. All pieces, including hardware were neatly enclosed in the box. The only tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver. It took me about 1.5 hours to assemble. The finished product is 25" high, 18" wide, 15.75" depth. It weighs 22 pounds and is made of warp-resistant MDF wood core, wood grain laminate and steel legs.

My wife and I were looking for a small table to place next to the love seat in our living room and we are extremely happy with the Welwick Wood Side Table. My concern prior to assembly would be the sturdiness of the table, and those concerns disappeared once the table was assembled. The metal X-frame legs are heavy and very sturdy, and even come with padded bottoms so they don't scratch your hardwood floors. The inside of the drawer measures 15 inches across, is 12 inches deep and is about 4 inches high; giving you plenty of space to store books, magazines, remotes, etc. Lastly, the grey wash is a beautiful rustic like color that matches the farmhouse décor in the rest of our living room. This is a well made product from Welwick and the perfect addition to our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with the WELWICK DESIGNS 18 IN. X LEG 1-DRAWER METAL AND WOOD SIDE TABLE - GREY WASH! This company seems to take pride in their products and it shows. The side table was packaged carefully to avoid any damage to the pieces within. The pieces and hardware were labeled clearly and the instructions were easy to understand making assembly a breeze. The table is very sturdy and the drawer pulls out smoothly. The package contained circular stickers colored to match the grain of the wood to cover the screw indentations within the drawer and they blend so nicely you would never know it was a sticker. The metal legs are a beautiful touch and it definitely could be classified "farmhouse" which seems to be the popular trend in décor. Home Depot and Welwick Designs hit it out of the park with this piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions included with the table advise having two people do the assembly. I didn’t have second person, so I assembled the table by myself. From unboxing to completed assembly took 1.5 hours. I'm a "senior" citizen; younger folks may find the time required to be less. The instructions also list a single Philips head screwdriver as the only tool needed. I ended up using a #1 Philips, a #2 Philips, a #1 straight bladed screwdriver, and a cordless drill with a 3/32” drill bit. The parts bag includes the necessary hex wrench, and I had no problems getting the hex bolts secured with it. The instructions note that power tools are not recommended. However, I found that the holes provided in steps 2 & 3 for the “N” screws were too shallow to allow the screws to get a good grip. I used the 3/32” bit to deepen the holes. Be very careful if you do this - don't drill too deeply, and drill straight. I'm not recommending using a power drill, it's just what I did. YMMV. The heads of the screws are easily stripped out – make sure you have a good Philips. Parts "R" (the slider arms) have a light coating of grease. Don't lay them down on the carpet and do have a towel handy to wipe your hands. The good news here is that the lube is sufficient to allow the drawer to work almost silently after assembly; you won’t need to add any more. I found that using a #1 straight bladed screwdriver made securing the cam locks easier than did a Philips head. I used the #2 Philips on the cam bolts, the #1 Philips was too small and threatened to strip the bolt head. The instructions say to use a touch of glue (provided in the box) on the wooden dowels. Using glue adds to stability but makes disassembly nearly impossible without damaging something. Think twice, glue once. Step 16 of the instructions, adding stickers to cover the four visible camlocks, took time - the stickers were really a problem to separate from their backing. (See photo below). Some spare parts are included, which is a nice touch - I hate trying to fish out a fastener that rolled under the bookshelf in the middle of an assembly job. Before you start check the parts list to make sure that nothing is missing. I found a couple of parts bags to be incorrectly labeled, although the parts were all there. Go carefully, read each assembly step, take your time. The instructions are not bad, but for the drawer slide assembly I had to refer to the drawings more than the written instructions in order to see which side was which. Fit and finish is good, the drawer slides easily and quietly. I didn't have to go back and adjust the slides, they worked out well the first time. However, the type of finish this table has ("Gray Wash") can appear to have blemishes when it actually doesn't. One area on the top of our table looks a bit like a crack - but it isn't. See photo below. The table functions well in the new ‘home office’ I’m putting together – I needed something small enough to fit between two chairs yet large enough to hold a lamp and coffee cups. Most importantly, the table passed the “wife test” – my wife proclaimed that she liked the size, look and function of the table. She didn’t happen to mention the great job of assembly.
