Rated 1 de 5 de par Poor Warranty I purchased this tool in Oct 2017 to finish a renovation project. When finished the tool was stored in my tool box that move around to my various projects. In Feb 2018 I went to use the tool and notice one on the pins between the handle and the jaws was missing. The pin or the C clip could not be found. I returned to my local Home Depot in March for warranty, the tool has a 1 year warranty, to be told I have to contact the manufacturer for Waterline warranty, the staff at the returns desk was very helpful and provide the number to call. I have contacted Waterline 5 times since March and each time I was asked about the problem, part number of the tool and was assured I would receive either a replacement tool or parts to fix the one I have. The last call (5th time) I spoke with the same lady whom recognized my issue and apologized for loosing my contact information and proceed to take the information again and assured me I would receive a replacement. That was the week of May 28th and I have not received a telephone call, replacement parts or a tool. This is not acceptable and would not recommend this purchase as the warranty in not honored.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Basic tool to work with pex I've got it about 6 month ago as a spare. Mainly using Ridgid 3/8-1" Pex Crimp Tool. No problem using it. It's a basic tool so don't expect same performace as $200-$250 tool.

Will this work for non-push-to-connect type sharkbite PEX fittings?

    Posée par: wlamot23
Yes, the pinch clamp style crimp ring should work with the non-push-to connect pex fittings. For proper crimping with pinch style crimp rings you must use the pinch style crimp tool for a secure crimp ring

I recently purchased a Surlok Pinch Clamp tool. I haven't used it in a permanent setting but have done a few dry run experiments. I cannot get the connections tight. Is this common or will it leak under pressure.

    Posée par: Mike
No, the crimp connection should never leak when installed properly.

does this tool works on regular clamp as well ?

after I use up the clamps included in the package, can I use regular clamps on this tool ?
    Posée par: Anonyme
They have additional clamps at Home Depot. I payed $19.99 for a box of 50. They had smaller packs as well.
