Rated 5 de 5 de par Going on 20 years I have had this under ground for better then 20 years. I use them with pulsating pop up sprinklers in my front yard, 10 of them total. I have replaced 2 of them in this time. 1 I boogered up while replacing the sprinkler and 1 that blew a hole in the side. 1999 - 2021

Rated 1 de 5 de par NOT WORTH PUTTING IN THE GROUND AS THEY ONLY LAST A SEASON OR TWO At first, I thought these were great... I was converting very outdated brass heads to rotary nozzles which require a taller body to accomodate the new rotary heads. I bought these I could place the taller bodies deeper into the ground as they were too tall when attached to the risers and I have a very mature yard where I can't bury the water pipes any deeper in the ground. For the first year, everything was great. However, after a year or two, the hoses separate from their connecors and cause massive leaking and sometimes little to no water coming out of the head. The connections are internal and cannot be restored or corrected, so they have to be replaced. If you want to keep digging the same heads up, year after year, to replace the hoses, then these will work fine for you. However, if you want a more permanent solution, I suggest using Rainbird 1/2" Swing Pipe, the correct elbow/inserts and band clamps. I started replacing these blue extensions with stronger homemade versions and have not had to replace any in several years now.

Rated 1 de 5 de par These are worse than useless Now I have to dig all of these up. Every few nights since redoing my entire irrigation system with these things, another sprinkler head blows off. They break/leak at the glued connection between the poly tube and the plastic threaded piece. These are absolute garbage. The first one blew off within a week

Rated 1 de 5 de par Garbage do not use! not worth the headache. I used 26 of these building my front yard system. after turning it on to test for the first time 8 of them blew apart. they are just pressed together. Thinking I may have got a bad batch I returned them and went to a different store and got new ones. those ones held together for a week now but they are also starting to fail. after burying everything over the last few days they are also blowing apart. I will be replacing with true funny pipe.

Rated 1 de 5 de par leak and break easily I thought these would be a nice alternative to swing pipe when coming off of pvc to dripline but they leak and break

Rated 5 de 5 de par Part is great fir insuring long lasting pop up installations... Part is great fir insuring long lasting pop up installations but many in the parts bin were obviously already used and some even had pliers marks on them or mud which are other signs of installation! These should be individually packed in a sealed plastic sleave so buyers can see they are new!

Rated 5 de 5 de par I use them to extend my families' hand held shower... I use them to extend my families' hand held shower units, with shut offs, to use on infants, pets and general small item cleaning. Use 12" or 18", use 1/2" PVC couplings. Works great.

I'm going to repair an existing sprinkler head.

I already have the sprinkler head.... I plan on using a 1/2'" x 12" flex riser screwed into a 1/2" to straight 1/2" coupling that I will glue onto the existing 1/2" cpvc tubing to complete the repair. The question I have is can I use pain old "rain or shine" pvc cenent {that I alreay have) or will I need to buy some cpcvc cement to use instead since I"ll be terminating to cpvc pipe?

First of all you need to brush up on your spelling and typing skills. The PVC cement you have will work fine. CPVC cement is used when working with HOT water. I doubt you would be drawing water for the lawn from your hot water heater.
