Rated 5 de 5 de par Just adds so much flavor What can you say about this wood other than it just makes everything taste so darn good! I use this with pecan chunks in my smoker for all of my smoked pork. Just made a pork butt/pulled pork, and the flavor is just spot on. It never over powers the meat, but offers a mild smoke flavor and give the perfect smoke ring every time. It's a bit pricey, but it does not burn to fast, and gives you that perfect white smoke you look for when smoking meats. It also has many nice size clumps in the bag instead of 10 million broken pieces like you get in others.

Rated 5 de 5 de par GREAT QUALITY - GREAT SMOKE FLAVOR - GOOD VALUE Apple wood is another favorite for low and slow smoking as well as simply imparting some mild smoke flavor to grilled foods. Consistent sized chunks with little waste. Easier to find in stores than Pecan Wood, but I generally combine Apple with Pecan online ordering in quantity meeting free shipping.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Finally - Chunks at a fair price Good quality and size wood chunks for your grill and smoker. I soak them in beer for a day ahead of smoking and them just pop them on hot coals. use 75% apple plus 25% hickory for excellent flavor for beef roasts.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Good Stuff These were easy to use in a Weber Smokey Mountain. The chunks were a nice size, big enough to burn and give off good smoke, but small enough to fit comfortably into a the charcoal bowl of a vertical smoker. They certainly give off a clean light flavor. I would like to see an upgrade to the bag, like a plastic zipper for easy re-use.
