Rated 5 de 5 de par Fantastic product! Use good batteries though. I replaced Arrow touchscreen deadbolts that the previous owner installed that had all died within a year of us moving in. I installed the weiser deadbolts on my garage and front doors. I am hesitant to put one on my side or back door because they get a lot of sunlight. I don't know what that kind of exposure would do to the touchscreen. Very happy with the product and would definitely recommend. Just make sure you don't use Kirkland batteries. After putting in new batteries, I struggled for a month with a strange error code. Weiser support told me to change to a different brand of battery as they've seen issues with Kirkland. I was in disbelief, but it fixed the problem immediately.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Beware!! This lock will Leaves you high and dry!!! For the first 3 months I loved this lock. Then the keypad died leaving myself, my wife and 3 month old baby locked out of our house. It was the first and only time we left our house without the key. Finally 2 hours later and $95 dollars after paying a locksmith we got into our home. I returned this poorly made product back to the store the next day. I read many similar experiences from other customers and I'm shocked to see Wiess not taking accountability for their faulty product and blaming the consumer. My Duracell batteries did not die, I have a fiberglass non warping door and the lock is located in a fair weather environment. The locks a just faulty.

The first little while was great thrn suddenly it started going through batteries every 24 hours, and when you opened the door with the code, it continued to try and open the lock for an hour until it finished the batteries off. It's done this 4 times in 4 days, so a fresh set of batteries lasts just about a day. And I can't even lock the door manually while it's continually opening it, it goes on forever until the batteries die, or you take them out. This is absolutely SHAMEFUL for a $200 purchase, and there is nothing innrhebenvironment killing the batteries. Worst purchase ever.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Electronically not sound Bought this product a year and a half ago. All of sudden you could not use the keypad to enter the house. Changed the batteries and it worked but not for long. Changed the batteries again and it worked but not for long. Tried again and it worked, a minute later it didn't work, a minute after that it did work then a few minutes later it didn't work . Telephoned customer support and was told it was most likely the electronic board had a loose connection and if it continues I would need to replace it because it was no longer covered under warranty after a year. This will not be happening since I cannot afford to replace something every 18 months. Going to look into another product that I had at my old house.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Avoid Not sure what inspired Weiser to change design features etc but none have worked. Just installed a couple of these sets using the drive in latch (as most do) and this latch has a lip that sits close to 1/8" proud of the door edge. Anyone at Weiser want to explain why? What problem does this address? Meanwhile the knob or lever drive in sits flush with the door edge. Also have issues with the collar that is installed on latch bolt when adapting for the drive in application. It is machined or stamped poorly and actually rubs against the bolt making it difficult to operate. Weiser used to have a decent line of products for the price but no more. Avoid for now.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Terrible product Had this lock for over a year now electronics are terribly cheap WEISER replaced it Batteries were being depleted within a MONTH that's a little hard to believe with only two of us in the house. We didn't even use the electronics always. No fluke o batteries we've replaced them within months of installation. Door cycles locked then unlock back to lock. This cycle would continue until batteries are completely depleted if you let them. It doesn't give you much reassurance when your not at home if someone randomly tried the keypad. And no suggestions blaming door alignment or any other feeble axcuse Weiser had for blaming the installation is ridiculous. STAY AWAY FROM WEISER SMART CODE 10 Door Lock

Rated 3 de 5 de par Modern and durable Overall I would recommend the lock. However; its only a 3 star review as the touch screen can be temperamental. On average 2 out of 5 times you try to unlock the door the touch screen doesn't register your input. Leaving you touching the screen repeadily until it responds.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Electronics dont work well this is a very nice looking lock, but we go through batteries probably once a month. I have tried Duracell, Energizer, and Lithium, it doesn't matter. We have been locked out of the house several times. The red light doesn't flash when battery is low. one time it was flashing green, I left house, locked door, got home and it was totally dead. I now carry a key and dont bother with keypad anymore. I have given up on contacting customer service. They asked me to send photos, and I did, I sent receipt, they said they would send new one, but they didnt. its been almost 2 years of emailing them

I have had this lock for a year. The batteries only seem to last about a month. &nbsp;I have tried both lithium and alkaline batteries with the same result. Is anyone else having this issue?

Weiser model # 9GED21000-002 Smartcode 10 Satin Nickel Touchscreen Electronic Deadbolt does not have the remote locking or unlocking feature. Weiser Premis model #9GED22000-001 Satin Nickel Premis Smartcode Touch Deadbolt offers this remote locking or unlocking feature with Apple TV 4 or higher.

Is the lenght latch 2 3/4 inch? If not do you have any keyless deadbolt with that length of latch ?

What tool is recommended to unscrew the back panel for battery change /change of codes. Regular screw drivers are too close to the door for that purpose.

Weiser model #9GED21000-003 will require a regular Phillips screwdriver to be able to remove the interior cover screws. If the unit is an older model then a 3/32 Allen Wrench will be needed.

will this lock work at -25C in a canadian climate?

The interior for a SmartCode is not designed for exterior use and should be under cover and needs to be protected from the elements. The exterior can be installed on an outside door but not be exposed to direct weather.
