This glass shade was a great color to compliment the color scheme of my recently renovated kitchen. Also I had been looking for a mini pendant lamp for over my sink area and this was the perfect size. It allows enough light to come through without being too dark of a shade. I also used a remote connected light bulb and remote switch to operate it which is dimmable. Looks great.

Rated 3 de 5 de par These are ok. I am still deciding whether to keep... These are ok. I am still deciding whether to keep them.They are very dark in place. Much darker than the photos show. They are in the kitchen ceiling fan but I needed to change the type of bulb I have in them because they are so dark. They look good with the black on stainless appliances. Finding the right bulb is a bear, too. You can't use the 5.98 inch standard Edison style because they stick out. I've not found the shorter ones in bright white, but mostly 'daylight' with a yellow cast to it. There was one company that seemed to have them but reviews indicated the glass separates from the base easily and they shatter even before installing. Still looking for a nice, bright white Edison style < 5 inches.

Each one is just a little different, so if your looking for exactly the same for more then one light don't expect these to have the same exact lines. These are really easy to instal sense you just hold them up while your screw the plastic peace that is on your light fixture or you might have the type of light fixture where you skew three little skews in. Either way depends on your light fixture.

Width ACTUALLY, I PURCHASED THREE OF THE HANDBLOWN CHARCOAL SWIRL SHADES AND THEY LOOK ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS IN MY BATHROOM. DIDN'T LIKE THE LIGHT FIXTURE AIMING IN A DOWNWARD POSITION, SO I FLIPPED THE LIGHT FIXTURE, PUT THE SHADES ON WHICH ARE NOW AIMING TOWARD THE CEILING AND I DO LOVE THE LOOK. THE SHADES MATCH MY GRAY MARBLE VANITY TOP IN THE BATHROOM. LOVE IT!

The conversion kit and drop lite kits were very good and the new drop lites are very attractive and very functional. With the LED lamps inserted they are really cost effective also.

Thank you for your question. This shade is designed for use with light fixtures that use a 2 1/4&quot; size fitter glass shade. The type and wattage of the light bulb to be used in the light fixture is determined by the light fixture and not the glass shade. Please contact the manufacturer of the reptile light fixture for assistance for the type and wattage that can be used in the reptile light fixture.
