Ultimate FanI've been using this blower for 2 years now, and it is still going strong. Surprisingly quiet for the amount of air that it moves around. As others have said, you can feel the air it moves from 20 feet away or more, and it is very directional. More importantly, it seems to take the air from where it is sitting, depositing it to where it is blowing, so that you are literally moving specific air from this room into that room, and not just pushing on the air in between.
I use it in my apartment to move air-conditioned air from my living room, all the way down the hall, and into my bedroom. After all this distance, you can still feel it blowing on your legs at the far side of the bedroom. Because of its tiny stature, the air it moves travels near the floor. You can then feel loads of warm air leaving the bedroom (through the upper half of the doorway, above the incoming stream created by the blower), creating a nice circuit between the two ends of the apartment.
I will also sometimes point it directly at the ceiling, and it behaves like an upside-down ceiling fan; Air from the floor blows up, spreads across the ceiling, and then comes down along the walls all around the room, great for evening out the temperature between the lower and upper halves of the room.
The only problem with it is that the bright yellow does not really fit into a home decor setting!

Mighty Stanley Blower FanI need to move a lot of air around to keep my flat cool during the summer. Traditional oscillating fans have their place, but they mostly move air around a room, not in or out of it.
I have one of these Stanley Blower Fans, and I can feel its breeze 20 feet across a room. It's a blower, so its air flow is very directional.
It's well built and the thick plastic feels solid. Sure, it's not an all-metal case, and it's a little noisier than an industrial-grade inline centrifugal fan, but for the price, I can't complain.

Needed yesterdayI work for a company who buys things and never uses them for what they where origanlly designed for so when I needed to get a multi-speed close to the floor quiet running adjustable fan I new exactly where to go and I new they would have what I was looking for and they did so within an hour I was back with one of the most durable and functional blower fans on the market and the best part was the price.
Especially want the cfm rating (should be on packaging), also like to know the power consumption (must be on unit near cord entry, maybe on pkg)

The power consumption for this unit is as follows:
I hope this helps.
