I have a tub that has a very small rust mark near the drain, can I use this product after I sand/grind out the rust? How many coats would I need to do?

Asked by: Frances
Yes, if the tub is made of porcelain the product can be used, but is not designed to stop rust. It will cover and fill the area, but to stop rust spreading we would not recommend it. There is no set requirement for number of coats and will depend on how many coats it will take to fill the desired area.

Is this product suitable to fill a small chip in a bathroom floor tile?

Asked by: Lynn
Since it is meant to fix porcelain enamel tubs, I tried it on a chipped porcelain tile and it worked with some success. Not sure how it would work on ceramic tile or other material.

How fast does it dry and does it require sanding?

Asked by: tzma
Dry times may very depending on the depth and size of the area being touched up. You will want to allow 24 hours drying time before using. For best results take sheet of gamet paper that is included with the product and sand lightly until the area is smooth. Then you will want to buff with a soft cloth.
