Is this trellis still 77 1/4" inches high when placed in ground with stakes? I want to stake it into the ground, but I do not want to lose any of the 77 1/4" in height.

This is a wonderful question, from the ground up the height is 77.2-inches. An additional 12-inches are extended into the Earth but is not included in the overall height of 77.2-inches.
