Rated 5 out of 5 by Gemini25 from Slim design a bonus. Dryer has a slightly smaller capacity (previous dryer had 6.5cu capacity) which is fine for us. It's still very new so no issues yet. I like the lint trap as it works well but you do have to jiggle it to get it back in it's slot. I liked that it came with a bonus 6 month warranty on top of the manufacturers warranty however I bought the extended warranty package as they don't make dryers to last like they used to. It's taller than the average but slimmer too and it seems much more lightweight which is perfect when you have to move it. The choice of cycles is great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BCgirl from Doesn’t dry clothes thoroughly I have to hang them My 11-year-old Amana dryer just quit after 11 years of using it pretty much every day. That dryer got a load done in 10 to 15 minutes 20 minutes max. This dryer does not heat up very much. I’m finding that I have to hang clothes to dry Because they’re not getting dry in this GE dryer. I think I will call the company and ask if there’s something someone can do for a service visit to check it out for me. I am using the cotton setting and either use time to dry for 30 minutes or the sand fresh which is supposed to be really really hot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Cold and Wet in Canada from Any savings go to your electric bill. Takes at least 2 runs to dry a fairly small load. Three 80-minute runs at full heat for a load of towels. The dryer knob is made of cheap plastic, and will break within 6 months of the parts warranty wearing out. Not worth it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Smit from 15 months later start button failed I have to one star it. There’s no way a machine part should fail after 15 months and only a total of a dozen uses. (This is in a cottage). Of course it’s just 3 months out of warranty. The issue - the start button failed and did not work. Am on my own to repair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tommy from This dryer is excellent. The instructions for use are very easy to understand and follow. I have been using it for about 1 month and my clothing and sheets have always been dried perfectly. No complaints from me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Lovelle from Stopped working Have only had this dryer for 1.5 years and it’s already stopped working. And now it won’t even turn on at all. Extremely frustrating as it hasn’t been very long. What a rip off machine.
