Dual Stages of 20 in. high capacity cartridge, capable of supplying clean water to the house of 8 people. -sediment and carbon filter removes a wide range of contaminants. -5 micron 20 in. x 4.5 in. high-capacity polypropylene sediment filter -- removes dust, particles, and rust. -Carbon Block 5 micron 20 in. x 4.5 in. removes Cryptosporidium, Giardia, lead, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) and MTBE.

This filter features a high capacity of 15, 000 ppm for lead, effectively reducing lead to below 15 ppb (the EPA standard for drinking water). Together with the carbon block filter, the filter pack also removes sediment, chlorine, rust, pesticides, herbicides, industrial solvents, VOCs, and various other contaminants.
