Rated 4 out of 5 by HWayne from Half Umbrella Base Fits well against a tall fence and holds the umbrella well- but not heavy enough for high winds so I use a bungee cord to hold the umbrella pole to the fence. I have had no trouble as a result.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rapper from umbrella base Support screw scratches paint off umbrella pole. Will soon get metal fatigue. Weight balance good - holds the umbrella up but light enough to lift and reposition.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dani from It's alright It's not too bad, but I wish it had more weight to it. We have a bag of dirt on top of it to make sure our half umbrella doesn't get knocked over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Patty from Perfect base for half umbrella Works great with my half umbrella. Heavy weight helps keep the umbrella secure but I wouldn't rely on it on really windy days.
