Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware incorrect information! The description above references a "durable chainsaw carrying case". There is no carrying case, durable or otherwise, with this saw. All the information declares this to be a 14" chainsaw, but as you can see in my first photo, it is barely 12". By contrast, my 13" Stihl chainsaw, actually IS 13", as visible in my second photo. The saw works pretty well, but I can't abide being lied to, hence only three stars.

Not recommended.

Then I noticed the chain wasn’t being oiled even though the reservoir was full. Decided to take it apart (painfull) thinking it was something plugged up after a lot of work I found this oiling sprocket, which was clearly stripped and designed from the start to fail. Why would someone place a plastic cog in a drive chain for a chainsaw?

Used it to cut firewood - 20-30 logs, 8" diameter in summer of 2021. Cut 2 logs in 2022 , 8" diameter for firewood Tried to start summer 2023 and would not start. Tried to charge battery 3 times and sti8ll would not start Would not reccomend this to buy

I was amazed at how well and fast it cut. Had the trees down in no time and cut up. On one battery charge. My savings were $700+ from the quote.

Is Model # RY405010BTL the same chainsaw as Model # RY40530CAN except that one comes with a battery and charger and the other does not? I'd like to know if the specs for the tools alone are the same.

Does this have a different (less powerful?) motor than the 18" bar version? Or is the bar size the only difference? And what is the difference overall in the 40v brushless chainsaws vs the 40v "hp" brushless versions?

The motor is similar on the two models, with the big difference being the cutting capacity of the two different bar lengths. HP is the name that is now given to our brushless products. Does this saw come with a carrying case? It is mentioned briefly in the description, but there's no sign of it in the photos, nor in the "Includes" line.
