The RYOBI 40V HP Brushless 20" Chainsaw delivers more power than a 52cc gas chainsaw, making it a true gas replacement without the hassle or maintenance. 40V HP Technology combines a powerful brushless motor, advanced electronics, and high performance lithium technology to provide more power, runtime, and durability to tackle the toughest jobs. With over 100 cuts per charge, the saw delivers longer runtime and faster cutting. The 20" bar and chain tackles cuts up to 36", making it ideal for the most demanding felling, bucking, and limbing applications. Using the combination wrench provided, precisely adjust the chain to the desired tension. This chainsaw has an automatic oiler to keep the chain lubricated for longer chain life and a variable speed trigger for maximum control during any application. While both offer additional kickback protection, the metal bucking spikes provide stability through cuts & the mechanical chain brake will automatically stop the chain when it's engaged.
