Bonjour Frank, Le drain est équipé d'une pompe, mais assurez-vous que le tuyau ne s'élève pas à plus de 100 cm (39 po) du sol car cela peut avoir un impact sur la fonction de vidange. Cordialement, Sasha

Does this drain automatically into the kitchen sink where I will draw the supply water from?

Hello Glen, The drain hose will arrive pre-attached to the appliance. During operation of the appliance, the drain hose should be directed toward a sink or drain to catch the discarded water as it exits the appliance. Regards, Sasha

Is it possible to extend the water intake hose for the Danby 0.9 portable washing mahine? Can the machine be attached to the bathtub faucet? Thankyou

The quick connect assembly can be attached to any standard threaded faucet. A bathtub faucet would not work as it does not have threading. The water intake and outlet hoses cannot be extended, they are the length that they are specifically to account for water pressure and ensure that enough water gets into the unit and no water is left in the drain hose at the end of a cycle.

Hi Ann, the Danby rep! I read your replies about the cold water limitation. May I ask why one can't run hot water in? Is it a risk if mechanical damage (or liability so we dont risk scalding?) Thanks -uncertain of practicality of this purchase...
