Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed in the details and quality of this setup As in the previous review the deck plate will not cover most 3 hole bathroom setups as advertised since it's only 51/2" long even though this is advertised as a 4" plate. This plate is best for a single hole sink. I now have to decide if I really want to keep the faucet or buy another brand elsewhere Escutcheon gasket will not seal the entire plate since it's a small square cutout that only fits directly around the faucet hole. They really skimped here on quality since the cheapest faucet plates I ever installed have solid one-piece rubber gaskets that seal the entire plate from water intrusion. To improve Vigo should offer a 6 inch deck plate to cover all 3 hole setups and a full rubber gasket for the escutcheon.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Out of spec and useless, as is. The spec sheet at the Home Depot site has to be corrected. It says that It has 6 in width. Actually it is only 5 1/2 inch. The spec says it is solid brass. When I received it, I checked it with a magnet, and it picked up the plate, which means it is not brass. I raised a question at the "Ask & Answer " forum, asking what material is was, and Vigo answered it: Nickel. A 5 1/2 in plate barely covers the 3 holes. Usually it is at least 6 inches for bathroom faucets. But still I would have tried to use it, if there was not a Engineering design flaw. There is a 2 inch square piece of synthetic rubber , with a hole, which supports the faucet when installed; that is good. But the bad part is, there is no rubber piece or anything else on the rest of the plate, and it will be hollow on either ends, and water will seep in and leak down the holes to the base board; that is bad. Due to a poor engineering design, the product is useless, and I had to return it to Home Depot. Sorry.... If they had made that synthetic rubber piece all the way to fill the hollow deck plate, it would definitely have been a nice product. Adding a half inch more length would be like icing on the cake, and I would have given a 5 star.
