Our aluminum tape is specifically designed to adhere well to foil. It serves as the best means to join ends of Reflectix product together because it ensures a continuous reflective surface. The use of ordinary adhesive tape or duct tape would create "windows" for radiant energy to pass through.
The exterior of a home can also be referred to as the building envelope. The insulation, outer walls, ceiling, doors, windows and floors all work together to control airflow in and out of the building, repel moisture, and prevent heat from being lost or gained inside the home. An envelope that is sealed well helps to maintain a consistent temperature even under extremely hot or cold conditions. Everbilt can be used to improve the home envelope to make homes more comfortable and energy efficient. Everbilt reflects 95% of radiant energy is non-toxic/non-carcinogenic and does not require protective clothing or respirators to install.
