The auxiliary transfer switch contact kit allows a single large electrical load to be locked out from generator operation. If a home is equipped with electrical heat or multiple central air conditioning units, this device allows the generator transfer switch to interrupt the control wire, breaking the signal needed for the appliance to turn on.
Engineered with Generacs Digital Load Management (DLM) technology, the Nexus Smart Switch is the smartest transfer switch on the market. It has the ability to cycle on and off two air conditioners without adding additional components, allowing for a smaller generator to cover more circuits than when paired with a standard transfer switch. THIS ITEM CANNOT BE RETURNED.
Generac's 9855 HomeLink Upgradeable Manual Transfer Switches are now easier to install, expand, and maintain than ever before. To meet the requirements of 2017 National Electric Codes, improved 30-amp and 50-amp HomeLink models can be used with any portable generator featuring compatible GFCI outlets. With interchangeable circuit breakers that simplify the reconfiguration process required for replacing or expanding from 8 to 16 circuits, HomeLink switches can be used to provide power to hard-wired loads such as your home's furnace, well pump or lights. Thanks to the re-launch of Generac's HomeLink Upgradeable Manual Transfer Switches, protecting your desired loads and transitioning from portable power to an automatic standby solution is easier than ever before
This 10-circuit, 30 Amp manual transfer switch is designed for fast installation (indoors) in a home, office or small business. It is completely pre-wired and enables the electrical system of the building to accept the power of a portable generator to run up to ten single-pole circuits, and any pair of single-pole circuits can be used as a double-pole circuit. It allows you to power electrical appliances, devices and lighting during a power outage. This transfer switch is completely code compliant and keeps the generator power isolated from the utility power at all times. Circuit breakers are 1 in. interchangeable and can be changed to different sizes and brands that are compatible and within the maximum circuit size ratings.
The Reliance Controls TF151W Transfer Switch is easy to install and easy to use. It is ideal for controlling a single 15 Amp circuit, such as a forced-air furnace using a grounded extension cord. The transfer switch ensures that you can safely use back up power during a power outage without having to worry about back feeding the utility line. In an emergency situation you might not think to shut off the main power source, the transfer switch makes it so you do not have to worry about that. The TF151W comes with an attached 18" flexible aluminum conduit for easy attachment to the circuit breaker panel or furnace or at any point in between. Power can be supplied from a portable generator, inverter, RV generator, fuel cell or any standby source capable of producing sufficient current.
