Vivere's plate hook has been designed to conveniently install on a ceiling, veranda, gazebo or any other overhead structure that can sustain weight of 250lbs. By using 4 x 1 1/2" wood screws, securely fasten the hook into a support beam that will be able to handle a load of at least 250 lbs. Please consult an engineer if you are unclear about the load bearing potential of a given post or beam to be used.
