The Vortex Powerfan VMF Series is an in-line duct fan specifically designed to maximize the airflow performance with minimal noise levels in a small, compact housing. These fans incorporate a powerful mixed flow impeller and internal air vanes located at the discharge end of the fan housing. This impeller and guide vane combination provides a smooth laminar air flow which in turn minimizes turbulence and noise and generate an excellent air flow to static pressure performance ratio. The VMF400 is suitable with 4'' duct.

Manufactured in Canada, the Vortex VTX400P inline blower, for 4 inch diameter duct, has a built in automatic pressure switch that detects when air is flowing through the ventilation duct. It will automatically turn on and off the Vortex VTX400P inline blower as required. In a clothing dryer application, when the dryer goes on, the VTX400P will automatically turn on and will stay on till shortly after the dryer goes off. This will allow the dryer to perform better and more efficiently. Both, drying time and power consumption are therefore reduced. Not suitable with gas dryers
