It is not as the 'SPF' (Spruce, Pine, Fir) designation would seem to confirm but that requires knowledge of Lumber classification. THIS is NOT CEDAR because if it was I would all the stock Home Depot should be held to the price for 2x4x10 cedar being $14.20 Cdn

The lift consisted of split, boards with bark on 2 sides and very crooked boards with missing edges. I am a journeyman carpenter and very disappointed in this purchase.

It was very impressive and thank you for that. Only concern I have is that two of the 2 x 4 have signs of Wood-Borer infestation and I have to return them. It surprised me that this was not detected before the timber left the wood mill.
