Rated 3 out of 5 by from The overall productive I just received my push sweeper and was disappointed to see that the right wheel was warped

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not sweep acorns off of driveway. I bought this specifically to sweep up the hundreds of acorns that end up on my driveway. All it does is just keep pushing them ahead of the sweeper not getting hardly any.

Had to use it on a trial and error type thing. Picks up leaves really well. I bought it to pick up plugs after I core aeroated my lawn. Note, let the core plugs dry out completely before you sweep them up. Also cut your grass low too to help pick up material. I have a bremuda lawn and it picks up grass clippings too! Highly recommend this product.

We had 2 weeks of rain and need less to say the grass was very long. I normally do not pick up clippings but when I mowed today there were so many clippings they were making rows on the lawn. I use the lawn sweeper and had them all picked up in no time. I would have given this five stars but the bag/holder does not stay on the sweeper very well. I will have to figure out a way to fix this so it stays on when in use but is still easy to empty. Well worth the money. I will also use it for picking up leaves in the fall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works pretty well I was using it to pick up grass clippings and it isn't too bad for that. I don't have leaves right now but I think it is going to work well. The only problem so far is paperwork states you can register online but I cannot find where to do this in the site.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied customer for over 10 years I've been using this product for over 10 years. It is perfect for my size lawn. I can pick up leaves without electricity, gas, or exhaust. I've used leaf blowers, but they didn't blow very good, and they were heavy and affected my back. Raking also got to my back and shoulders. The Lawn Sweeper is pushed. It turned the chore into a one-person job.

Has anyone tried using this walk behind sweeper to pick up goose droppings? We live lakeside and the geese create a large amount of droppings and I currently use a shovel and broom. Thanks!

Asked by: Ticket
Thank you for your interest in the Agri-Fab walk behind sweeper. Our sweepers are mainly designed for grass and leaf pick up. There are customers who use our sweepers on other types of debris with mixed results.

How well does this work picking up grass clippings? I have a fairly large front yard and raking would take days.

Asked by: JT
My lawn is very flat and it works great picking up the clippings. The bag/ holder does come loose from the sweeper at times but I would still recommend it.

How well does this work on picking up acorns and other such items in a yard? I have several nut bearing trees and wonder if this might be suitable

Asked by: Les
If the items are near the surface of the grass, the sweeper will whip them into the catcher. If they are deeply imbedded in the grass (like in the taller St. Augustine grass in Florida), the sweeper may not pick them up. It would depend upon your grass height and flexibility. I recommend having a giant, manual leaf rake (usually costs about $15) to use as well for such items. Regardless, this sweeper will save a lot of time.

Dose it matter how tall your grass is for it to work? Also how much dose it help to rise and lower the sweeper?
Asked by: bill
The sweeper does work better if the grass has already been cut reasonably short. Raising and lowering the height does help. You just have to find the right balance. If it's set really high, it will be easy to push but won't pick up as many leaves. If it's set really low, it will pick up more leaves but will be harder to push. So you have to find the happy medium somewhere in the middle.

Dose this item work on concrete as well?

Asked by: Casper
It can be done. I used it on my driveway to sweep leaves, with the height adjustment set pretty low, and it swept up most of them in one pass (see picture). However, if you then have to travel over grass to dump the leaves, then it's a problem because the brushes are too low to ride over the grass.

How do we empty it?

Is it easy to empty the bag and how would I empty it?
Asked by: NYCGirl
It's easy to empty if you're just dumping the leaves out, such as next to the curb for a street pickup. I just stand next to the sweeper, grab the handle, and flip it 180 degrees -- basically upside-down -- and the leaves fall out of the catcher. The wheels stay on the ground, of course. Then I flip it back and sweep some more. I haven't had to empty the leaves into a bag or container, so I don't know how well that would work, but the catcher thing is pretty lightweight and can be removed easily, even with leaves in it.

I've heard that these are difficult and time consuming to assemble.
Asked by: jeff
We found it fairly easy to assemble. My son did most of the assembly himself. I think he spent about 20 minutes on it. Compared with other products that need assembly, I think it was reasonably easy, especially if you're somewhat handy. However, on the other hand, if you don't know which way to turn a wrench or a screwdriver, then you might find it challenging. It depends on your abilities, to some extent.

Just wondering how well this would work on picking up thousands of locust tree leaves? They are very small almond shaped leaves that work themselves down into the grass.
Asked by: Shboom
Fair if on grass, but not as good as a rake.
